It is not a secret, Korean cinema is on the rising for some years now and Netflix has been strugling to nourish my afterwork mind me a really good show. Gave it a try and paralized. This series impressed me even more during Season 2. The acting is good, scenario is outstanding. This Series has it all, hold through the beginning of Season 1 and try to get used to the pace of korean dialogs. A recommendation from my side.

A good show, that is light and refressing

I really enjoyed the show and watched all 10 episodes in a weekend! The story is deeper than the usual show out there and the characters make you jump right into the story. The actors do a great job, the pace might be a bit slow for the average viewer but i think Jim Garvin did a great job and i look forward to a second season.

I gave it a four only because of the cgi work. It amazes me how many people have no idea of what a good film looks like. 8 stars for this garbage?really?? I read a guy's review saying he liked the international contribution for this film's production. How much hype and brainwash damage has Hollywood done to you? Whats the story? Aliens invade earth....aha, OK it may happen because our world is not dying fast enough...so they give it a push. After 7-8 years being able to transport to earth, (the best, funniest or whatever..) scientist's realized they should destroy the portal to their world! Hey that took a while to figure out. this and that, there is no meaning of going through every point. I was disappointed of del toro because some of his previous films were very nice! Why did he have to do this..? easy answer...money. Acting was bad to horrible, and cgi was the only part of the movie worth watching. But yet again what is a movie with 90% cgi? Leave the robots and aliens to the Japanese, they do better anime's than this waste of money.

Well, i started watching this show couple of weeks ago. All i did was catching up read some reviews and ratings from diverse web sites for some good shows. So i gave the show a chance, i never knew the actors either and i never watched, csi mcsi nycsi lasvegacsi lacsi nevadacsi alaskacsi cis and the navy version.
Anyway, i thought of writing a review and share my experience with you.
This show has tons of good actors and a lot of good ideas that get pretty well combined. Each episode has almost a new storyline, except the ones that are involved with the case of Det. Becketts mom, which are 3 or 4 so far. That is the main attraction of this series, how Det. Beckett searches for the killer(s) of her mom and also having Castle under her wing, which turns out to be a lifesaving deal.
On this episode finally there was a tongue to tongue scene between, the main characters. It lasted pretty long in my humble opinion (3 seasons), but thats the nice part of this show.
It doesn't exaggerate!
Everything is plain and simple, which makes this show entertaining enough for everyone that loves nice detective stories.

That's the "Movie God" who shot me!!!.....and this movie stays!
Considered as a movie, WOW that was an experience!
Amazing shooting,Amazing editing,Amazing acting.The part with the interrogator, Fantastic, the part in the car with the kid,crying, Touching.It allows the viewer to confront such a great aspect of each Genre this movie has to offer, and they are a lot!
Joong-ho after being fired from the task force-unit dedicates himself to just being a pimp.While he searches for his disappeared girls and having no one else to do the job, he sends Mi-jin Kim played by (Yeong-hie Seo)for it. It turns out the same customer has a connection, and not only, with all the other girls that disappeared from work of duty. Now a whole police force is set loose on finding Mi-jin Kim and some clue's.
Joong-ho's character played by (Yun-seok Kim) is really well performed, such as the character of the little girl.That kid has potential. The storyline started slow, but after half an hour you had to try hard figuring out what's the relation between the two case's, at that point i got lost, but after a while the movie puts you right back in.It's grotesque style reminded me of (Chan-wook Park's) Old Boy. The only part i didn't really get was when the kid was found beaten up.What was that?
To get to the point.This movie despite of being a real story, which is really sad, has an amazing casting, storyline and film crew, who created a must see for everyone that just dares to watch a worthy foreign movie thats so hard to find these days.
I'm really looking forward for some new work of this Director and hope Hollywood stops being so shameful and learns something from this one.
