The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022– )

Matched the tone of the book!

Let me start by saying, I love the books. Love them. They're so warm and sweet, and I was so nervous when I heard there was going to be a tv series. I thought the series would never be able to match the tone the books I have... I was wrong! Thankfully so! This series kept that warm and sweet feeling and followed the books so well. Loved it! Excited for the next season!

I want more, more and more!

After reading through some poor reviews, I felt like I needed to share my adoration for this show. While no, it's not like TVD or TO, it still has it's own merit. I love how different it is and the different ways they've incorporated supernatural beings. I also think the chemistry between actors and actresses is one of the best things about the show. To me, I feel like they really exude their characters. It's not prime tv, by all means. It's a supernatural teen show. But that being said, I love it and I hope they're able to do as many seasons as TO and maybe even TVD. Being brought back to Mystic Falls made my nostalgia feels go through the roof. I'm pretty sure I'll continue to watch Julie Plec spin-offs till the end of time.

Absolutely Extraordinary

This show has made me feel all sorts of emotions that I didn't know I could feel before. I am laughing, I am tearing up (and mind you, I'm not a crier). Jane Levy is fantastic as the lead! And it does a pretty darn good job portraying a developer team. All I can ask for is more episodes!

Little Women is one of my all-time favorite books, and thank you, Greta Gerwig, for bringing it to life! Such a beautiful and moving story with an all-star cast and spectacular cinematography. Loved, loved, loved it!

Four Weddings and a Funeral (2019)

Rom-Com fans will LOVE!

I love this show! I felt like I needed to write a review to lessen the poorer reviews. If you're a die-hard rom com fan as well as a Mindy Kaling follower, you'll love this. I am both and can't get enough of this show! I love the references to other Romantic movies and shows, I love the pacing, I love the characters. Is it a perfect, for everyone show? No. But if you love romance and cheesy 20s-30s life living stories, watch it. It'll be great!
