Trailer Park Boys: Out of the Park (2016)
I love these guys but
I love these but after watching a frustrating and disappointing Europe series, I had high hopes for this US series but it was unbearable with Bubbles ranting the whole time. This show gravely went out of balance to Bubbles it should have been his own show and Julian and Ricky were just sidekicks.
The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure (2022)
cringy
Huge fan of korean movies and was excited to see this for Lee Kwangsu but Kang Ha Neul is so cringy with his terrible acting I stopped watching after 15 minutes. I have no idea why they keep casting this guy in movies. And seriously a 18th century pirates of the Caribbean type European ship in 1396 korea? How dumb do they think we are.
A Resistance (2019)
must-see about one of Korea's most famous independence activists
A heart-wrenching portrayal of one of the most famed and beloved independence activists leading up to her final days. Made for the 100th anniversary of the 319 Movement, this is a must-see.
Paik's Spirit (2021)
who edited this?
A combination of baek and korean alcohol made this a greatly anticipated must watch for me but it was unbearable to watch. Poor casting of guests, annoying editing, too much focus on chatter really took away the educational aspect of korean alcohol. They should've packed it into 2 episodes like the rhapsody programs baek did. This one was a mis.
Tudo ou Nada: Seleção Brasileira (2020)
way too much talking.
Cinematics of the game play is great but all the talking really drags the mood and pace of this series
Chang'an shi er shi chen (2019)
A Big Step for Chinese Drama but not quite there yet
Thoroughly enjoyed the cinematography and set designs but it was a struggle to watch the entire show with Jackson Yee's constant frowning and unbearable underbite lisp. the show would have been solid if they replaced him but good thing he goes away later
Children of the Arctic (2014)
fascinating story and content but poor storytellng and screenplay
The content, subject, setting were all fascinating but frustrating how poorly the film was made i felt like a drag and didn't do these kids justice
Chernobyl (2019)
Is it so hard to find Russian actors?
Don't understand why it's so hard to find real russian-speaking actors for this. otherwise, just don't make it at all. genghis khan played by john wayne. a half-asian played by emma stone. cultural appropriation lives on..
Ansisung (2018)
favorite war movie
This just might be my fav war movie of all time. the cinematography in this movie is pure art. also, I had no complaints about Jo In Sung's acting
Daejang Kimchangsoo (2017)
inspiring
Historical with a profound meaning to koreans. great acting and cinematography. this is a proper ode to a national hero for koreans and well made to honor the legacy of kim gu
