And am not kidding.

Is J-Lo now a "Poundshop Sandra Bullock". Just a lot of over-acting trying to overcome a terrible script. Its terrible........almost as much shouting as a Christmas Eastenders special. In the words of "Comic book Guy" - WORST FILM EVER. That might be an exaggeration, but at least Hallmark films can be categorized as background noise - who would want background shouting?

This review needs 600 characters - maybe that's what this film needed. 600 characters so that at least one or 2 of them could act. Unsure if I should watch all the credits at the end - if there's a recipe for Brownies (like there was at the end of Hot-Shots) then at least there would be something positive I could write....

Expedition to the Edge (II) (2020)

Loved it......thoroughly captivating

Very very good. Gripping and intense, watched all 6 episodes in 2x nights. Lots of very raw emotion and gives the viewer a thorough insight into the risk taking required to achieve the rarest of adventures. Very much recommended.

I first watched this probably in 1980 and I have watched out for this every year since. Christmas isn't Christmas unless I get to put my feet up with a box of Turkish delight and watch this. This is an absolute timeless classic.

Really good film. It runs the gauntlet of all of your emotions - there are certainly elements of darkness here......it is similar in part to the likes of Battle of the Planets or Ulysees 31. Very much reccommended.

Frank of Ireland (2021)

But they panned this......and I am going to pan it some more. The only reason I watched it was because I don't/won't read the Guardian. I searched for critics reviews post watching an episode. A comedy that trys to be funny and outlandish.....and just trys too hard. Aimed at the dimwits.........

UHF (1989)

I first watched this film 30 years ago on a satellite channel called "Filmnet". I still laugh about it today and if wanting a chuckle, I think back to the characters in this film.

Weird Al's humour is a bit daft but there is nothing wrong with that. A bit of daftness here and there brings colour to the world. If you liked Airplane, The Kentucky Fried Movie and Animal House - then you'll like UHF. Weird Al Yankovitch - a legend :)

Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020)

A number 2 is an appropriate rating for this film. I am a huge Bill and Teds fan - who can forget Bob Ghengis Khan or Dave Beethoven.......but Face the Music? I can't remember one line from the film less than 24hrs from watching it. Definitely watch the film drunk - it might make sense and you wont remember it. Win Win.

A serious negative also - is that this was MY choice for last nights viewing. The chance of me getting a choice in near future is nill.

Men of Honor (2000)

A very powerful and emotive film with both Cuba Gooding Jnr and Robert De Niro excelling in their respective roles. One of my "Whisky films"........perfect to watch with a dram. Don't miss this one.

Awesome soundtrack and genuine heart warming film. Some great dialogue and genuinely funny scripts. Sam Rockwell is tremendous. Very very good film.

I only signed up to IMDB to review this film. AWFUL. I suppose it is like a PG version of deadpool, but without the humour, the wit or the quality of soundtrack. Michael Douglas didn't sign up on the basis of the script. I gave it 1 star......which is about fair. I like the early Spiderman films, loved Deadpool and was sort of hoping for something inbetween. Unfortunately not. Bit gutted - could have watched the first round of the darts instead........
