Gladiator (2000)
One of my favorite movies ever!
It combines a gritty and intense depiction of gladiatorial combat and an intriguing political background, and with a solid cast and direction, and impressive special effects, it ultimately becomes an exciting and emotionally rewarding movie experience and the best film of 2000.
The Departed (2006)
Thrilling and suspenseful
Truly Scorsese at his finest. With great performances by Nicholson, Damon, DiCaprio and Wahlberg. The Departed for me is one of the greatest mob movies of all time.
Hell and Back Again (2011)
Very good filming and cinematography.
Very deep and eye opening documentary about not only a life changed but a marriage changed by an injury in war. Amazing raw footage as well as aftermath after returning home and beginning the healing process. You really feel the pain he's going through. Makes you think about how many lives are affected by the war and how sad it is. Especially for the people caught in the middle. Wow. Sobering.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
An excellent ending to the best cinematic universe there has ever been.
I love this movie not just because there are fan service moments, but the writing is woven together from previous Marvel films and this phase of the MCU culminates in grand style. The fan moments are justified then, because of the writing and the story offers balance. There is no shortage of humor, as you would expect; It has become a stapel to have in a Marvel movie. I can connect with the characters (protaganists) who after losing to Thanos in Infinty War must accept that defeat and move on with that sour taste still in their mouths. This is something most of us have more than likely had to deal with at one point or another in their lives: Defeat and how to pick ourselves up after losing. People can say what they want about the different issues and "plotholes" but honestly, "Avengers Endgame" closes out this phase in the MCU in such an epic way.. It'll be interesting to see how they should attempt to top this!
Lupt (2018)
Good movie
It is definitely a film that I think would appeal to even non-horror fans just because of the good story line which is well directed.
The script is excellent, with realistic dialogue that packs an emotional punch.
I need to congratulate Debutant director Prabhuraj for executing the film so very well and casing perfect actors Jaaved Jaaferi and Vijay Raaz who were so realistically believable.
Lupt really engages you.
