A Sister's Secret (2018)
Not bad for a Lifetime movie!
Best line was at 1:03 when Paula Abdul, playing a cop, said something like, "I'm in no place to judge." Fun reference to her American Idol position. 😉
Lost (2004)
Coming from the original "Freckles".
"Lost" was the best TV show I ever watched. It was intelligent, creative, original and funny. It left my mind chewing over the week's episode until I could get my next "Lost" fix. I always found sitcoms silly and a general waste of time. I've been looking for something that would seriously challenge my intellect and this was extremely difficult to find in a television show. But once I watched the first episode of "Lost" I was committed. And I knew that I had found gold. I was obsessed. I took notes. I tivoed every episode. My friend from work and I would do lunch the day after a new show. We'd dissect the twists & turns we'd became addicted to, courtesy of Damcar. I became so spoiled by the intelligence the show. I couldn't even watch a sitcom or movie without thinking I'd much rather be watching "Lost".
For 6 amazing thought-provoking years "Lost" kept me on the edge of my seat excited, confused and happy. A number of people have criticized the show's ending. I'm not one of them. I know all questions weren't answered. This show has entertained and challenged me for 6 precious years. I am not going to spit at the sky because of 1 episode, the ending. If I ever create such a masterpiece I will do it my way. I respect everyone who worked to make "Lost" the glorious journey that it was.
The Butterfly Effect 2 (2006)
I actually enjoyed it! So there! 😋
I have watched a Tom of time travel movies and this was actually not among the worst. I really liked the crazy guy Luk? He made me stop and listen 2 or 3 times to stuff. Only part I didn't like was when he killed himself at the end. I didn't see the rationale...
House of Cards: Chapter 67 (2018)
Clare is no Francis
I'm trying to get thru this w/o Kevin, but he was the show. Robin Wright prancing around having somehow acquired the knowledge it took Francis years in Congress to master doesn't give the viewers much faith. What I lives about this show was the high standard it held, drawing an intelligent audience. I hadn't enjoyed anything since Lost ended. This successfully kept my attention thru last season. I hope that it gets better.
I like the good cop bad cop the siblings are playing.
And I'm anxious to learn more about how Annette got Francis' ring and it ended up on his bed.
And I want want lots more of Doug. He is a great character, and I never know what he's going to do.
