I really wanted to see where s3 evolved. Henry was not a traditional hero. In fact, she's quite the villain to her supporters. Many comment this point, but I wanted to see if there was growth to this part of her character.
It's not the same old tired method for good vs evil. Especially when dealing with the additional trauma of the assault element.
The villain was also not a traditional role as you see redemption aspects of his character also. This is the one series I wanted to see more of. It's not a simple show to traverse but it well thought out and the emotional components were scripted and acted to perfection. Down to the mannerisms of the girls when they were getting high. It was one of many scenes I thought were executed better than I've seen before.
