Born This Way (2015–2019)

Wonderful and Inspiring!!!

I have an 11yo son with down syndrome and I'm so inspired by the young adults on this show!! Watching this group of wonderful and determined individuals makes me smile and brings me joy!! I think Elena and John both have such a great sense of humor, I so enjoy their positive energy and laughter!! I've enjoyed watching Christina and Angel's beautiful love story blossom. I love how Sean wears his heart on his sleeve and has no fear expressing himself!! Steven seems like such a sweetheart, Megan and Rachel have a strong sense of who they are and what they want to be!! Rocco reminds me of my son when he was little, just melts my heart!! All of the individual parents on the show are remarkable warriors and inspire me so much!!!!

Interesting & enjoyable!!

I think the cast is great- the character Aunt Dee-Dee cracks me up! It's smart and fresh and tackles the topic of biraciality during a much less-accepting time. I was a child of the 1980s and enjoy the music and references to that nostalgic time!!

Otherhood (2019)

I really enjoyed this movie about motherhood and also friendship!! It's funny and emotional at times! I thought the cast was amazing with wonderful on-screen chemistry! Looking forward to watching it again!

Deadly Switch (2021)

I didn't think it was as bad as the 1 and 2 star reviewers. It kept my interest and felt like I was watching a movie on the Lifetime channel. I thought the ending was odd, but overall, it was OK.

Another Time (2018)

It started out like a Hallmark movie then became a scientific documentary. Kept my interest briefly at moments, but not enough to finish the movie.

The writing on this show is remarkable!!! The acting is wonderful, especially Keir Gilchrist as Sam...amazing!!! I have a 10yo on the autism spectrum and can relate to some of the issues presented on the show, but of course as the saying goes- if you've met one person with autism, you've met one person with autism. It's a spectrum after all and affects each person, individually. This quickly became my new favorite show!!! I wish for more episodes per season!!!

This movie is funny and heartfelt, but did leave me wanting to see more! I agree with other reviewers that this would be great as a mini series. The cast is incredible! I've always been a fan of actress Alfre Woodard and she did not disappoint! I will definitely watch this movie again!!

Life of the Party (I) (2018)

Hilarious and Heartwarming!

I like Melissa McCarthy, but haven't loved the movies she's starred in....until this one!!! My teenage daughter and I were laughing throughout this movie! The mother/daughter relationship resonated with us. Great casting and acting. Love Maya Rudolph's character and their friendship in this movie. Moms with daughters will "get" this movie. Just sit back and let the laughs come!!!!

Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)

Phenomenal!!!

I've always enjoyed Queen's music, but WOW!! I didn't know much about Freddy Mercury's story and this movie kept me intrigued the entire time! The actors did a tremendous job, especially Rami Malek as Freddy Mercury!! I'm going to see this movie again later this week!! I laughed, I cried, I loved it!!!
