Young Sheldon: Memoir (2024)

Not supposed to be just laughs
17 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Well this finale was awsome, i have to admit o cried like a baby these last two episodes. I have to contradict a lot of the reviews here that say this was not a good finale. It was a awsome finale. It was not supposed to end up great because we knew from TBBT what would come, and that was that the family had a very Hard time coopping with George senior's death. Like Georgie said on TBBT missy was a dumb teeneager and mary was falling appart. In retrospective we see that George's death had a huge traumatic effect on sheldon and "helped" him become much more self centered and with a even bigger difficulty in making friends and allow himself to care about them since he did not want to feel the pain of loosing anyone he loved again. This was the perfect ending. And seeing a bit more of the evolution of Amy and sheldon's life was very satisfying. We end up understanding that the bad guy picture sheldon made of his dad was his sheldonesc way of dealing with the pain. LOVED IT!

So fun and out of the box.

Loved it loved it loved it!

Diferent than the original ROM COM we are used to, remind me a lot of 10 things i hate about you in a very good way. Shows that love can be messy, unpredictable and that we tend misjudge a lot by hearing only half a conversation. The spider scene is priceless and i swear at one point i thought the koala would slap him ahahahahah hilarious. Glenn Powel showed us he is a very versatile actor and good at all genres. Sidney was perfect at showing us Women can be tough and not just cry at a corner for a man! Most of the critics i read here are very unfair and most of the writen by people who do not like ROM COMS and whatch them just to be able to talk badly about it. Trust me the movie theatre was full and people were all laughing out loud throughout the whole movie. And if you have doubts go to instagram and see the hundreds of vídeos of people after leaving the movie theatre to see that movie!

Free violence and no logic
18 April 2022
This film has no sense, never saw a movie of this kind quite like this... There is no logic to the story and is just free violence... After this henry cavill went on to make better choices. It just doesn"t follow the teseus and the Minotaur story and resumes teseus as a guy who just wants revenge on his mother's death and king Hyperion as a self centered guy who judge every body and no one could look better than him... Should contain other type of violence warnings cause i had no idea what i was about to watch... Really bad...

I don´t agree with most of the reviews here...
29 June 2021
It´s a very intense show about all the human aspects we choose to ignore and turn into tabu... I don´t agree with saying that brad is an abusive boyfriend, he really is a person with a lot of unresolved issues that run how lives his life and how he treats other people and Billie, as a psichologist, has a deep urge to try and resolve them for him only to let the love she feels for him blurr the whole situation. Cooper is the nice guy millions of women would want to have thats for sure but once you get to experience the full exciting existence its difficult to settle to a simple suburban soccer mom life... cannot wait for a second season.

loved it
11 February 2020
Well i have to disagree with most of the reviews, i loved it and found it refreshing! You people have to forget politics and just watch it carefully. It aproaches a lot of the tabus thas society still has. The focus on PTSD, cancer and the whole views on sexual and cultural of nowadays is awsome. Disregard all comments and see it at least once ;)

very pleasantly surprised

As usual i was very skeptical about a remake of this series because i loved the original one but i have got to be honest with you I LOVED IT!!! i loved the new vision they came up with and specially about the turn they gave to the michael character. The only character i think is a bit lost in the middle is isobel... But i will keep watching and i hope it keeps going strong ;)

Not Feeling it at all...
19 October 2018
I´m really not the type of person that just critics but in what concerns this one i have to be fair to the original series and actresses... Just saw the episode and the whole thing just felt forced and full on cliché... as for the original was natural this was the tottal oposite... or you give some sense of direction and change where you´re going with this or you will push the audiences aways... To me this felt like bring it on meets charmed.. somewhere along those lines... histerical teenagers find out they have powers... Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano, Rose Mcgowan and Shannen Doherty we truly miss you....
