Dickinson (2019–2021)

Boring yet entertaining

Well directed and produced historical character piece. Reading ED's wiki page , her life and character was just about as exciting as the animals in her farm. The director and HS has managed to make her story to an upbeat contemporary manner that is follow worthy, But please dont read the wiki page. Nothing happened in her life which makes me wonder how the hell are they going to stretch a boring life to 3 seasons.

La Grande Maison Tokyo (2019– )

A very engaging cooking drama

Good storyline and script with brilliant acting. Exaggerated Japanese drama but in soap opera style, it was fun to watch. I liked it also because the presented food was bona fide Michelin class level cooking

Dumplin' (2018)

Fun, sweet and heartwarming

It was a superbly heart warming tale with a nice script and overall acting from all the cast. Blanket, popcorn required for this one. have fun

Tiger (2018)

Good story, entertaining movie

Its not great, just nicely good. Good acting all around with Mickey Rourke as the heavyweight crowd puller . Decent boxing action.

Magnum P.I. (2018–2024)

Don't watch this and compare it to Tom Selleck's Magnum. Likewise goes to Hawaii 5-0, Macgyver, SWAT.,Dallas, Beverly Hills 90210 and soon to be Charmed. They're just updated retold versions of the old. We north of 40 will never like these new versions. Period. But if you can appreciate it for the entertainment value, that's what it's made to do. Sit back and and judge it for what it is and not for what it isnt.
