The Witches of Eastwick (1987)
A classic we all love.
I just re watched this film and fell in love with it all over again. I guess its the cast of Michelle Pfeiffer, Cher, and Susan Sarandon, and Jack Nicholson. This movie is funny, crazy, silly, sexy, and just plain great entertainment. It should teach all men not to cross a woman cause you just may not know when you're dealing with a witch. When powerful women get together things happen and men beware. This film shows these women in their normal lives and then when they get together the powers unfold. So fun to watch things happening to Jack Nicholson....his acting is brilliant as usual. The chemistry of this cast works great and I love the personalities.
An American Haunting (2005)
Great acting and directing makes a great film.
Want to see something historical, chilling, thrilling, and entertaining...then you must catch An American Haunting. A film about the Bell Witch haunting which took place in the 1800s.....actually it's the only recorded case in history where a spirit has caused death to a human being. Lots of great scenes in the woods after dark, the creaking of the stairs, the noises, and that black wolf with the piercing yellow eyes. Under the direction of Courtney Solomon.....Donald Sutherland, Sissy Spacek and Rachel Hurd-Wood all do an amazing job telling this story. It's refreshing to see good acting, a real story line, and a film that actually moves forward and builds in action and suspense. You really care about these characters and feel for their torture. I also think the ghost did an amazing job...almost another character in the story....lets give much respect to them for keeping us on the edge of our seats. I also felt the music which was an original score by Caine Davidson....really added to the excitement and drama of this film. I believe in ghosts and you will too after seeing this film. Yes this is a movie for all ages.
Secretary (2002)
Hot and thrilling.
The Secretary A film about power in the workplace and relationships. When a business man hires a woman to work as his secretary, the lines are crossed very quickly. Each person has a need that is met by the other person. In the fetish world of Dominant and Submissive, this movie serves truth in these relationships. Some may find this film weird, but those of you, like myself, who are open minded about this may find this film hot. Isn't everyone searching for love in some way or another....so when we find it or watch others find it we must applaud. These characters are lonely people with dark secrets and tell their stories brilliantly. In the end the woman proves her true love to the man who doesn't believe in it....and they find happiness in each other. Hot sexy scenes that get steamy as the film goes on....a good date movie...will make for good conversation after the film is over. My vote for this film is 8 out of 10.
Eating Raoul (1982)
Edgy, funny, quirky, and a classic.
Eating Raul Sexy, fun, wacky, silly flick. You have the normal married couple living their boring lives as a doctor and a wine seller. They are trying to save money for a down payment on their restaurant. When their the husband loses his job and a loan goes default....they think of other creative ways to earn their money. When an encounter from a swinger in the building turns bad and they kill him....they realize how much money they could earn by simply killing people. The normal couple turns very eccentric in their scandal....and start luring people into their homes for sex then killing them. It gets crazier and funnier as the movie progresses......and when Raul enters the scene the film takes off. Could life get any crazier.....the big scene climax is at the swinger party......they make tons of money and kill lots of people. I won't give away the ending cause you must see this film....but guess who really gets taking advantage of in the end? My vote for this film is a 7 out of 10.
