The Hunt (2020)
Betty Gilpin is Awesome
I wasn't sure what to expect beyond the obvious premise but I was extremely impressed considering the premise isn't my usual fare. If it weren't for Betty Gilpin being in it I probably would've skipped it but she's great and didn't let me down. The takeaway lesson for y'all is respect your car rental people in the future!
Temple (2019)
The 3 stars are for Mark Strong
I got half way through ep. 7 but should've stopped a few before that...
I've never liked Daniel Mays in anything and since he's a co-star in this it was an uphill battle from the start for me to enjoy. Maybe in real life he's a very intelligent and charismatic person which theoretically makes him an amazing actor since he always comes across as a gross moron to me.
Terrible script/dialogue in many parts of what I endured.
All I know for certain is I wish I could get phone reception above ground all the time as well as they appear to get in their subterranean hideout.
Star Trek: Picard (2020)
Excellence!
I like everything about this show, the story, the acting, the cast... the swearing! I hope it continues for as long as Patrick Stewart sticks around!!
Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain (2001)
The best
My favourite funny romantic film of all time. The only film I went to see at the cinema twice!
Tea Pets (2017)
Looks good, but...
If you're into watching a decently animated story for an hour and a half that makes no sense then you're in luck... this is for you! Enjoy.
Hanna (2019)
Simply put...
...the best way I can break it to you is: just read 10 to 15 of the one star reviews and that will be a more interesting and fulfilling use of your time than watching the lame YA show that is Hanna. The film is definitely worth watching... this garbage definitely is not.
Seeing Joel Kinnaman was in the first episode got me interested... but now I think he must have owed a favour to someone in the production. Keep trying Amazon... but not with a season 3 of Hanna!
