The film auteurs I am interested in are Ti West, Robert Eggers, Larry Fessenden, David Lynch, Lars von Trier, Kurosawa Akira, Wes Craven, Tim Burton, Sono Sion, Miike Takashi, Emir Kusturica, Denis Villeneuve, Andrew Stanton, Małgorzata Szumowska, Steven Spielberg, Yorgos Lanthimos, Park Chan-wook, Apichatpong Weerasethul, the Coen brothers, Quentin Dupleux, Youssef Chahine, Walt Disney, Miyazaki Hayao, Hosoda Mamoru, Ingmar Bergman, Gaspar Noe, Spike Lee, Thomas Vinteberg, Dee Rees and others.
I also follow news on animation, film, music, politics and other affairs, such as terrorism, minority rights and disability rights (mostly autism).

Some of Why Not's films have won numerous prestigious awards, such as Jacques Audiard's Dheepan and Ken Loach's I, Daniel Blake, which both won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015 and 2016 respectively. Franco-German film studio Wild Bunch handles international sales from some films such as those of Ken Loach and The Country Teacher.
