Doctor Slump (2024)

Another K-drama where nothing happens

This show could have lasted 5 episodes instead of the usual 16. First episodes are ok, we gradually learn about each character, there are a few interesting stories, promising plot... and then nothing! Just a succession of scenes where they eat and say "hhhmmm it's delicious", they drink when they're sad or happy, adults acting like teenagers and telling each other "you're beautiful" and get embarrassed for nothing. And basically the same development as always.

The cast was good, cinematography too, but unfortunately the writing was really poor. I enjoyed watching Park Hyung-sik in Soundtrack #1 which was soooo different from all the usual k-dramas and so natural and well written.

What an awful experience, for both my eyes and my ears! Everything was wrong in this movie, except the cast... but that didn't put it right. Lower than my already low expectations.

Very Disney in the lighting and color correction + the music. It almost makes it look like the struggle wasn't real!! While it was!!! Awful movie to me.

The story is interesting, reminded me a lot of memories, and deserves to be told. But as a French who hates the French acting (very unnatural and theatrical), it's a no.

Hawkeye (2021)

Entertaining at best, but we got a little bit bored after episode 3 and even more after 4. I had the feeling that this was made for 12-year-olds. It's funny and cute. Far from the original Marvel universe. With such a budget, I was expecting something not as "cheap".

• They lost me in the second half. Editing was messy to me. And so the progression of the documentary.

Jack Ryan (2018–2023)

Bad. So bad!

Having a hard time finishing season 1 right now. Unauthentic, unrealistic, predictable scenes... Terrible French cast. Color correction/grading... directing give an impression of a cheap tv show from the late 90's/early 2000's. That's my general impression: cheap finish.

Kevin Can Wait (2016–2018)

Funny but nothing really new in terms of story and characters. The most interesting and funny one was "Chale" played by Ryan Cartwright. He should have deserved much more attention.

Anna (II) (2019)

Painful to watch

It was personally painful for my eyes, my ears, my brain... On a positive note, the action scenes were good. And... that's it for me! The screenplay is terrible, there are so many poor clichés in every way... Coming from Besson, they're not surprising though and were highly expected! I feel bad for such incredible actors as Cillian Murphy, Helen Mirren and Luke Evans for being part of this project.
