Powerful and risky: excellent
4 February 2021
Bajo Ulloa has made many risky decisions in this piece: there are no dialogues, an entire cast of women (none of them "hook actresses"), a story halfway between the story and the most heartbreaking reality, and a slow production against the accelerated trend of today.

All these factors are no longer so risky when accompanied by a sober and elegant production, a clean and organic photography at the same time, an evocative sound design and a spooky soundtrack in the purest style of the late Normand Corbeil in "Heavy Rain" .

During the footage, at no time can the powerful force of the film be denied that does not stop removing the most basic pillars of life: motherhood, the sense of belonging of the son to his mother, the similarity of the characters with animals , and the strong presence of nature as the conductor of history. A cocktail of elements that gain even more strength in these rare days that we live.

Conclusion: Powerful. Impeccable quality. Risky. It strikes me as a clever masterpiece that trusts the public, which makes it even bigger.
