When a Hollywood production is going absolutely nowhere, you at least hope they get there fast, getting you out of your misery.... The story is a royal mess, going from one unclear spot to another which makes it impossible to find the viewing experience attractive. But the real showstopper here is the often rushed, awful acting which sucks the reality out of every scene before you even THINK of identifying with the characters! Just another waste of effort, capital and time....theirs....and ours! Advice; avoid when encountered, refuse to watch when invited or delete when accidentally downloaded...

Lodge 49 (2018–2019)

Great acting and production but megaslow pace and invisible plot

When a production team repeatedly drags you through a super-slow unfolding of unremarkable events for 50 minutes, it has a proclivity to happen again and again in following episodes. The reason I got so far was the great acting of the whole crew, fairly flawless I dare to say, but just like a bowl full of raisins and no porridge, the missing ingredient turns out to be crucial to keep you interested. One of the best examples of the importance of a gripping story....and get the viewer's attention before they drift off... Felt like wasted time to me...

Exiting TV, .... if you are younger than fourteen! Or when your IQ is lower than 85, which correlates quite nicely with that age by the way....Uncreative, slow paced, uninteresting, flat characters, nothing special happening, good lord, how do these infantile projects get funded? Two words; avoid, plaque.

Monster X (2017)

Unpolishable turd...

After the film-crew and the ill-briefed neighborhood of the producers were forced to gave this 'home-brew' an excellent rating on IMDB, the real reviews are coming in... While they probably ment to produce a one and a half hour long movie, only one hour of the shot footage eventually saw the editing room. The rest they HAD to throw away, it really was that bad... The acting, the story, the makeup, audio, continuity and the all-round technical quality....everything is just so remarkably low budget and so poorly executed it should only be shown in the living room from the director's family. Looks like they had a budget of about $30.000 and at the end, when they had about 10.000 left they thought: let's throw worse money after bad on promotion and a nice DVD-cover. The cover is actually not that bad.... I could wish the producers of this turd good luck but the'll probably don't know what to do with it... All in all, avoid like the plaque when you at least expect to have an hour of entertainment.

Another mediocre Tyler Perry fabrication

Another women-are-secretly-really-strong flick... Taraji P. Henson is solid as usual, at least she's got a good paycheck out of it... her performance aside, the waferthin story makes this film pretty unbearable to sit out.... Did Perry win a lottery once and now flushes his money down the LaLaLand-toilet?

Reconstruction of an old murder case with plenty of mediocre, charisma-lacking actors and flat-talking, bore-inducing, actual we-were-there-officials. If the producers tried to awake an old forgotten nightmare, it worked. And a nightmare it is...stopped watching after 20 minutes of yawning.
