Hanna (2019–2021)

Hooked for now...

If you look at Hanna as a stand alone series without comparison to the movie you will not only be entertained and curious and left with wanting more but also adding it to your watch list. Yes it's dark. Yes there's a lot of music in between scenes and yes it's mildly American but haters are going to hate. Aside from the head CIA agent, the main antagonist, the acting is solid and the content intriguing and believable ... so far. As one who watches a lot of action, historical fiction and drama series, I gauge my interest on the shear fact of getting through the first episode with out switching it off and then the ultimate test... add to watch list. I think there's enough here for me to come back in March and see more. This being said, I did this with orchid black and eventually did not get through subsequent seasons as did I do the same with Orange is the New Black, The Crown, and several others. Conclusion: enough to hook me in, staying hooked remains to be seen.

Omg this movie is so boring and poorly adapted and acted. What a complete dismissal of the original. I don't even get it so how is my 7 year old to understand it? Thankfully I did not pay to see it so I decided to fold laundry instead of waste one more minute of my life couch critiquing this hot mess. I can't even... lol Oprah the 20 foot space mermaid...and poor Reese... not her wheel house either, ugh it's just such a disaster.., Mystery Science Theater top pick.

You'll need it to shop or play games while your kids barely laugh at this movie and you find yourself bored out of your mind or dozing off. Total let down for a 14 year wait. A few laughs at the baby but other than that, rip off of Mr. Mom and I can easily wait another 14 years for a sequel that hopefully won't get past the cutting room floor.

Totally binge worthy

I literally watched 20 episodes in 2 days. I love the acting and intelligent scripting. The character development is stellar and I could go on! Is it fiction? Yes. Is it slightly unbelievable? Yes but maybe no. Isnt that what entertainment is? I am so completely disappointed I won't be getting to binge out and check out on a 3rd season! Big mistake, huge! There's plenty of other crap Hulu could scrap, if you would like to know, have your people call me direct as I have no people.
