The Predator (2018)
Not what everyone expected
Everyone was excited to see this movie, but in the end almost everyone was dissapointed. In my opinion this movie isn't completely trash but it is the worst of the all the franchise. It's enjoyable but nobody thinks about it after seeing it. Movies nowadays relay on comedy to stand out, and this movie isn't supposed to be funny, but still the studios wanted it, and they accomplished it with some fairly good jokes but still out of place. The editors had to cut the movie in order make it last as the same as the previous other movies, as a result some scenes are too fast and incomplete. It all happens too fast. It's so fast it doesn't build up to the last fight, nobody is excited to see a fight, it feels like everything else in the movie. Probably the best thing in the film is the bloody action. Finally an R rated film! It has the action the predator must have, not excluding what was necessary. In the end, the predator is an enjoyable film but forgettable, the more you think about it the worse it gets, I don't think this movie will be remembered or mentioned when compared to the others
Halloween (1978)
A succesful, creative and scary film
Nowadays horror movies rely on cheap jump scares, this trend makes horror movies predictable and lazy, however, Halloween is a creative and original film that doesn't rely on these trends. It tells an intriguing story that leaves you wanting more. This movie is old (1978) and despite that it stills manages to scare the audience and in creative ways, it perfectly uses the shadows to hide the horror from the film, making you doubt if you're even safe in your own house at night. The acting is also very pleasuring, using a cast formed by teens and kids. The main protagonist expresses herself perfectly in every situation and the kids manage to act naturally and without exaggerating like most kids do in movies. In conclusion Halloween is a perfect 1970s film that inspired many movies years after, it creates horror in creative and unexpected ways, and being so remembered that it creates one of the most recognizable horror movie villains
Johnny English Strikes Again (2018)
Good normal stuff
It's hard to make a movie after two laughing creative movies, despite that this third installment proved to be funny and friendly, you have a guaranteed laugh. But like any other movie it has its flaws, the story isn't as intriguing and diverse like others, it has short action sequences. The main purpose of the movie is to give a laugh and Rowan Atkinson does this perfectly with his brilliant acting, the other characters are just there but Rowan takes all the credit. In conclusion a great calmed movie, perfect for a laugh and a calmed time, it's relaxing to see a movie this simple that makes for a good time.
The Breakfast Club (1985)
A great teen based movie
Many teen movies have cliches and other overused themes. The breakfast club HD a different film with a deeper meaning where the characters end up discovering themselves more than they want to admit, therefore one of the greatest character development in all
The Meg (2018)
Perfect for laughing at a bad movie
The Meg is in general a bad movie, but still enjoyable. It has everything it promises: giants sharks and action. But it has too many cheesy dialogues that make the movie better without the characters. In conclusion it's a bad movie but still enjoyable if you're not expecting something great
