Hubie Halloween (2020)
Disappointing
I have enjoyed many of Adam Sandler's movies, and I would even call some of them masterpiece in comedy genre. However, this movie was disappointing in many aspects. For so many talented actors, this low quality movie script was such a lame one. It looked like the whole movie script was written in less than a day! It was a shallow movie, suitable only for kids who would like to be in a Halloween mood. I really hope they will consider more worthy projects in the future. I am sure they are more than talented to make it happen again.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018)
A super fun movie with a screenplay far from being flawless!!!
Everything seemed perfect except for the screenplay itself!!!
Actors and the director did a marvelous job. They could make me watch the silver screen for even more additional hours with no complain about the long duration of the movie. However, the screenplay was far away from being flawless!!!
J. K. Rowling is the creator of this magical world and for sure she deserves to be the producer and the true leader of this project. However, I wish she could get more help from other screen writers to make this part a flawless task too.
It's not all about transforming from a novelist to a screen writer. Her Harry Potter book series were full of logical mistakes as well. Therefore, I am not surprise to see twisted parts in the movie as well. For example, in the first movie of Fantastic Beast series, Newt is going through passport checking of muggles (No-mags). How silly is that when you can vanish and appear in any place you want in the entire movie?!?! I mean, such things keep happening in all her writings, and it wouldn't happen if she could use more help in writing!!! Could someone else do a better job than her by himself/herself? Probably not! She is great. However, even at her level, she can use help. Even Spider-man needs help sometimes, why not her? ;)
I don't want to go through all the details. There are cool videos on youtube about it. However, there are things worth mentioning:
1- What's the deal with the title of movie? It doesn't reflect the story at all!!! We expected to see the series of Grindelwald crimes, and instead we just observed him trying to gather followers!!!
2- Many of the audience were confused by so many characters in the story. Personally, I loved this!!! It makes you watch all the previous series and read theories related to this magical world before watching the future movies. However, there is no doubt that in a screenplay you should clarify things carefully so that everyone without even knowledge of previous series could get the idea of what's going on. Even for those who are the fan of her writings, they were confused about many things. For example, the appearance of professor mcgonagall in Hogwarts during that period of time!!! Even if she was only a relative to the professor mcgonagall in Harry Potter, such things should be explained in the movie. We have enough mysterious about magic, we don't need to play with identity of characters like this.
3- Many reviewers believe that Grindelwald character was not well-defined in this movie. I totally disagree. He is a complicated character and he is not all bad. Tom Riddle had the same character when he was a teenager in Hogwarts, but suddenly he became a monster whom you couldn't understand the reason. Oh... speaking of the reason... In J. K. Rowling's writings you can trace back even why a specific name was chosen for a character, but you can't find the reason why exactly the character behaves like the way he/she does.
4- I loved the dark side of the movie. It was getting away from the childish start of the first episode.
To sum up, I should say I'm looking forward to watch the rest of series and I even hope it won't be the last series of this wonderful magical world. However, I hope J. K. let other screen players to help her more through all this. That's the only way she can make it all perfect.
Detroit: Become Human (2018)
Another masterpiece of Quantic Dream
As expected, Quantic Dream took it to another level. I admire the patience of the team producing this masterpiece. It took them many years to finally release it, and they did their best to make it a perfect work. In this game unlike many similar ones, your decisions truly affects the endings. It seemed all your decisions matters and you should be careful during the whole game.
As a script writer, I know how hard it is to finish a story perfectly. Now assume a script full of parallel, interceptions, and overlapping sub-stories. I indeed admire the work of David Cage and his team.
The acting was perfect! It is clear how hard it is to go through this project as an actor. They should understand the role of each character and the aim of each scenario separately. I believe it was such a challenging task for them. They all did great, but I should admit the acting of Bryan Dechart, Clancy Brown, and Audrey Boustani was marvelous.
The soundtracks in this game were amazing. You could absolutely feel each character by listening to their music themes. Especially, Nima Fakhrara did a wonderful job. The Connor's theme exactly represents its character and his journey to become human.
Why didn't I give 10 out of 10 to this masterpiece then? What things can be improved in the next projects?
1- The depressive dosage of the story is too high. The possible happy endings can't compensate the high level of sad emotional moments in the story. The happy endings need more scenes. For example, a scene showing how Alice and Kara live happily together, or the same scene for Markus and North. For instance, more scenes similar to the secret ending of Connor and Hank. It was a great ending for them when Hank hugged him like he is hugging his own son.
2- The main story of Heavy Rain was more exciting!!! We needed a turning point such as the one we realized the detective was the serial killer himself. I know it's hard to define a turning point in a story full of many possibilities. But still you have proved you can do it in Quantic Dream. The shock related to realizing Alice is a robot was not powerful enough. An android could realize other android's model, but when it came to Alice, they all became blind. Everyone are trying to feed Alice in the game and nobody even realizes why she doesn't eat. All of this because we were supposed to understand Alice is a Robot in Jericho! I believe this part of story could be written much better.
3- The diversity of characters were nice. However, same as other Hollywood projects and almost all medias, they include all races except middle eastern! Maybe you could use Nima Fakhrara for one scene, it wouldn't hurt ;)
4- More checkpoints can be added in the algorithm of the stories. The ability of skipping some part of story can be added to the game. Same as the one in "Yakuza". It's very useful for those players who play the game more than once.
In conclusion, I should say this game was a masterpiece with no doubt. Quantic Dream is on the right path and they make our expectations raising higher and higher each time. Well done! We admire your hard work. We are looking forward to playing and enjoying your next games.

Voldemort: Origins of the Heir (2018)
Good idea, but poorly executed!!!
It is such a good idea to make movies based on Harry Potter's world. It has many fans and they can't get enough of it.
It is true that the logical parts of J. K. Rowling's stories related to Harry Potter are full of mistakes, but it has an interesting and magical story.
The movie "Voldemort: Origins of the Heir" not only have too many mistakes, it is barely interesting to follow even for 50 minutes.
It is true that it had low budget, but still it deserved much better story.
The positive point in this movie was the act of Stefano Rossi. He played his role pretty convincing that he is really the young version of Voldemort.
The movie was disappointing, but I hope they keep making movie related to Harry Potter with new script writers.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 (2011)
Well done! The only weakness was related to the story itself.
J.K.Rowing is a gifted writer with great talent for imagination. However, her weakness reveals itself in logical parts of the story. She created a new world with its own rules, but the problem is that she couldn't define the rules vividly, and the reason is that she wasn't able to do so!!! Anyways, we should admit that her books are magical and indeed very interesting. I'm a fan myself since I was 12.
When it comes to the movie, the acting and the visual effects were almost perfect and the director did a memorable job. The sound effects and music are also amazing.
I can't stop watching the final part. And, I'm sure fans are always waiting for more. Fantastic beasts couldn't satisfy our thirst in my opinion. I believe the linkage between Harry Potter movies to related potential movies can be much stronger if J. K. Rowling would write next projects with other talented script writers.
