Mike Bara ruins this documentary, without him it would have been much better.

First, his tone and manner of talking is quite ignorant. He speculates on old photographs of the moon and considers his speculations as truth. Which is the exact opposite of science - as he claims he is an engineer one would think he would know better. This guy wrote and sold a bunch of conspiracy books - including the 2012 Mayan supposed 'prohpecy'. What happened there? How did we all magically survive 2012? That tells you the credibility this person has

Otherwise, this is actually an entertaining documentary. I enjoyed seeing footage of astronauts and interviews I haven't seen before. I do believe there is non-human intellgent life, but unfortunately this documentary does not show that, just some simple conclusion jumping, speculation with no hard evidence.

The Dark Tapes (2016)

Should definitely be rated higher than a 4.6

As of me writing this review, The Dark Tapes stands at 4.6/10 - that is criminally low! People just like to hate on the Found Footage subgenre. It's ridiculous, the concept of this genre is great and forces good filmakers to be creative and inventive - which this Found Footage movie definitely is.

Besides, people think these types of movies started with Blair Witch, but they didn't, go watch Cannibal Holocaust from the 1970s. If you dare, I saw it once and never again will I put myself through that.

Anyway, The Dark Tapes has some genuinely good ideas executed well. Sometimes the acting, especially in the last 'tape' isn't so good (the protagonist in that one needs acting lessons). But overall if you like horror and/or found footage movies at all you'll like this.

The Barn Part II (2022)

If you like horror you may be into this

This movie kills children!

And it's awesome!!

Personally, I think more kids should be brutally killed by crazed psycho demon killers. So, if you like that sort of horror you will like this. There is, of course, some very bad acting and other hallmarks of B horror, but there are also a slew of horror scene people in this too.

I cannot stress enough that this movie requires you to like horror as your favorite genre and enjoy watching B horror movies for fun if you are to enjoy this or the first Barn movie.

As far as horror movie sequels go, there are absolutely more nonsensical horror movie sequels out there.

Titanic (1997)

A great example of the worst of Cameron and a great example of why so many 'historical' movies are crap.

Cameron has made a slew of movies I really like, love even. Nearly all the movies he made before this trash are absolutely fantastic.

The sets and costumes are not historical. This movie is made for girls aged 10-18 and white wine moms who never matured.

I like Kate Winslet, she's alright. This scipt is trash - the dialoge is insipid. The acting is like a high school play and so is the direction.

The only people that did anything worthwhile in the movie are the special effects people. Cameron had the money to hire the right people and at least he did that.

Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985)

You got it. If you enjoy Friday the 13th movies and haven't seen this one, you'll enjoy it. If you don't like these type of movies, well, oh well, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe learn to get a life, loser.

Amyway, Jason kills a decent amount of people,which is always good. This movie fits into the movie arc that c9ntains the character "Tommy'. "Tommy" is played by a different actor in each film. And I do say "film" as these movies were all shot on old school real and actual film. You can tell. If I had to guess everything before Jason X was done on film. Not that Jason X was all digital, maybe it was digital tape.

Dune (1984)

I really like it

I didnt like Sean Young as Chani. But otherwise I really like this film. I think I like it so much because I also love the book, have read it multiple times and I also like David Lynch movies. If you dont like either of those things this is probably a 4/10 but for me its excellent filmmaking but not perfect.

Sting is great.
