Código Emperador (2022)
Loved this thriller!
This is a really solid, well-made, intriguing and eminently watchable film. Unlike typical Hollywood 'action', with constant fight scenes, explosions and CGI to force the pace and to keep you "entertained", this movie brings you into a well-acted story plot and keeps you there. Highly recommended! Enjoy.
Den osannolika mördaren (2021)
Yes... slow, ponderous, speculative and disappointing overall, for me.
Well acted and produced, etc but coulda been delivered in HALF the time-or less!!! Very 'Swedish'. Provides an insight into sloppy police work, but otherwise... Could only rise to giving it a 5.
BAC Nord (2020)
Really good!
Man-didn't know what to expect and it takes a while to get going but it is really well done. Su-perb performances all round. Gritty and captivating. Watch and enjoy.
The Tomorrow War (2021)
Sorry-can't recommend. Fairly awful, overall.
Cliché upon cliché, a pretty bad script and such a risible plot. Started off with good potential and then descends into farce. If you like good Monster CGI and Sci-fi, the idea for this movie sounds good, but honestly, it's not a good depiction. Watch if you really, really, really have nothing better to do.
Shookum Hills (2021)
Total. Crap!
Nothing more to add. Oh jeez, they tell me that that was too short. OK, then... the Worst. "Movie". Of. All. Time.
Official Secrets (2019)
Brilliant! Watch and enjoy!
Just enjoy this movie. Apart from being really well made, the true story Is a sad reflection on real politics at the highest levels. But it's SO good, even if we know-and lived through- this real story. Great, great, great job. Script, acting, editing, score-all superb. How on earth is it not rated more highly overall??? Watch and enjoy.
Killer Elite (2011)
Pulpy, predictable, a bit puerile.
More of the same with Jason Stathsm. What was De Niro thinking??? Does he really need the money? Story, screenplay, acting, plot etc all relatively poor. But... it was more or less what I expected.
7500 (2019)
Out of the blue... a little Gem of a movie
Loved this. Unexpected but gritty and compelling. Ending threw me a little bit still loved it. Enjoy.
