I've left and them come back to these movies time and time again because they keep popping them out like popcorn. His determination in the first two to force everyone to believe they are real was funny as heck but also made me want to keep watching just to see where they went. Some are good and some are not, but holy heavens was this one silly beyond any suspension of disbelief. In what country/world/planet would police walk some random dude through an interrogation with a serial killer over the phone while he chats with him on some early 2000's looking chat room!?!?!? My wife could not stop laughing out loud. At the end when you see the "killer" was in his house, it's obviously his wife from the previous movies just dressed up a little and walking weird. I can't. Still giving 5 stars for keeping these things coming out. I've seen much much worse.

I ADORE the opening of this film....and then we are thrown into that awful, extended, whining and sobbing interrogation with the main guy and the cop. O-M-G that annoying sequence could have been cut down by a third and still made sense.
I love films that mix the use of traditional cinema and found footage. This one does it ...ermm...kind of well. My only issue was that when it switches to FF it was so ugly looking and sounding. We get it, it is supposed to be video camera footage, but we are still watching a movie and want it to look decent. No one believes FF is real anymore, I wish filmmakers would stop spending so much time trying to make it seem real.
Overall, this is a great popcorn flick. I recommend.

I don't want to give any spoilers.. which is going to be difficult on this one.
Home sick and have watched three movies so far...this was the third. It is SCARY AS HELL but one of the DUMBEST plots I have ever seen in a film. It could have been so much more...but it got lost trying to explain EVERY LITTLE THING.
The atmosphere is seriously unbelievably thick with tension though.
Huge fan of Derrickson and this is by far better than Deliver us From Evil.

Wow. This is a film for hardcore gore and imagery lovers. I'm home sick binge watching horror flicks and came across this gem. I absolutely hate reading subtitles, but they weren't too distracting in this flick.
There is some downright disturbing imagery in this one, it is not for the squeamish. I didn't find any of the characters very relatable (are the supposed to be?) but I was entertained.
Not much in terms of plotting etc, but again, they have a solid mood and atmosphere.
