Hwan Hon (2022)
S1: Loved it but the ending could've been better, S2: Mediocre & Unnecessary
I really started loving the show in season 1 but I don't know why in ep-20 all those traumas thrown at once. To find the answer, I started watching season 2 even though changing the lead actress wasn't something I preferred. After continuing till S2 EP7, I started to realize this wasn't something I was looking for. The story pace was slow, you might tell me that it was necessary for the story buildup thing but my answer is NO, we didn't need them on S2. I couldn't justify the way Jang Uk moved on so fast and developed such a passionate love for another woman (he didn't know Bu-yeon was Naksu almost until the end so that counts okay?). They simply turned am amazing fantasy story to a generic kdrama love story, such a shame.
Kkotboda namja (2009)
IN ONE WORD: AWFUL
How can people finish this drama and end up being fans? It gave me anxiety, neck pain, and several headaches! The whole point of this drama gives the wrong message to us where the poor are mindless greedy individuals lacking self-respect and the rich have every power to exploit the commoners even in an educational institution. It normalized bullying in the rich kids' schools, it's like if you have childhood traumas/ personal issues it's okay to bully and even lead the bully to suicide/gang rape! Gwenchana! I hated how the female lead and family were literal morons and lacks dignity. I know Asian parents can be uptight but I expected a little bit of dignity from Jandi's family. And what's wrong with the whole Jandi character though? She's a total red flag to all the women out there. It seemed so silly and spiteful hearing the "Geum Jandi, Fighting" phrase where all Jandi did was abandon her self-respect and keep getting in trouble for her rich bf and his family. It was clear like water from where all of the problems were emerging. I'm not justifying Jun Pyo's mother's acts who was total evil but you know it's kinda normal of rich evil people's existence, right? What's not normal is when you become a groundless woman and keep getting favor from your rich counterparts despite all the insults! She even keep taking gifts from Jun Pyo even when he became her ex and his fiancee also. And she even became a maid of her ex's household.. the audacity yuck! Talk being cheap in her best way. If she did hold some morale and defended herself, the story would've turned out much better. For me, it was mainly Geum Jandi's character that ruined the entire show after the Macau episode. And what makes Geum Jandi a more trashy character is in the end you end up choosing the guy (GJP) who continuously put you through all the suffering and not the one who loved you unconditionally and selflessly and even his family valued you enough (YJH). I feel bad for Ji Hoo Sunbae, he really didn't deserve this horrible trauma. I pretty much don't have any complaints about the other characters because even if they were not perfect beings it was okay, it's normal to have issues in their own ways.
I expected that after the Macau episode, Jandi will finally realize what's right and what's wrong and start being the independent woman who'd heal herself and not depend on her rich friends. She'd move on and focus on her dream to become a doctor and succeed obviously. But she kept proving herself as the typical weak woman whose education is a literal waste and all she does is cry and stick to her lover's ass who's a toxic one for her. I wasted my entire week on this series. And as it wasn't my very first kdrama, I've seen better before so it was a total trash story from my viewpoint. It makes me sad to see this kdrama suggested as the classic piece, whereas in the K-world you can definitely find much better ones.
Death Note: Desu nôto (2006)
Bittersweet
It was a good experience watching this anime but 37 episodes didn't feel worthwhile. Though I'm against those who suggested not to watch it after episode 25, because I believe people like this really lack of morality in their life and probably they wouldn't think twice serial killing people if it's not considered as a unforgivable crime. I can confidently say that I really hated Light throughout the show just not because he was a mass murderer but also he became high on pride and merciless.
I like how this anime gives you a choice of judgement. Good mind game and thank goodness for it's unevil ending.
Adini Feriha Koydum (2011)
Could've been better.
An enchanting love story between feriha and emir. Some characters specially feriha's father and brother's part was kinda disturbing to watch. It could've been a good one if there was not too much unnecessary tragedies and extra prolonged storyline.
