Just watch this 2000s classic with an open mind and you will be fine
12 November 2019
I remember watching this movie when I was younger and I kinda remembered parts of but I kept procrastinating watching it again now because I kinda liked it when I was younger. So finally came the day I finally decided to watch it and I must say even after all these years it's enjoyable. Not the best or worst but enjoable enough.

I want to talk about a few aspects of the movie.

The story. ( Easy to watch, funny, iconic and remeberable in some parts but not all. It's set in the beautiful state of California where we are introduced to a wide selection of different characters over the course of the movie but this story is mainly focusing on 2 stoner bestfriends who keep being bad boyfriends, bad employess and keep ending up in trouble. Sometimes their intentions are good but even in those times they keep messing up. And of course everything no matter how bad it gets has a way to be resolved in the end after all. I don't mind it. This is a comedy so there are quite a lot comedic and iconic early 2000s moments. I enjoyed some of them but not all of them and it's okay. At first I didn't liked few things about it but watching it with an open mind later on made me thinking who cares. It's just more of everything. Personally I enjoyed this movie much more than few other early 2000s movies who tried to be funny but failed miserably. It doesn't work everytime. And it almost didn't worked in those one. But I still like it. Kinda.

Sound design - (Meh. I'm writing this review few hours after I watched the movie and looking back I don't think I remember that much of the sound design. Nothing really stood out to me besides maybe à few songs but nothing too great to remember.)

Overall I think quite a lot of people will not enjoy it and quite a lot will. In this case this is a 50/50 movie. Where 50% people like it and the rest don't. Personally, after watching it this feels like not the greatest movie and not the worst one so it's somewhere in the middle around 6 out of 10. Wouldn't really recommend to anyone and it wouldn't be one of my first choices from the comedy genre.

Everything about this movie still blows my mind. Even in 2019

I remember watching this movie when I was younger and I kinda remembered parts of but I kept procrastinating watching it again now because I kinda loved it when I was younger. So finally came the day I finally decided to watch it and I must say even after all these years it's very enjoyable.

I want to talk about a few aspects of the movie.

The story. ( Easy to watch, engaging. It's set in the beautiful city of New York where we are introduced to a wide selection of different characters over the course of the movie but this story is mainly focusing on 2 Men in black agents who are here to protect us all from the scum of the universe in this action/Sci-fi comedy. And of course everything no matter how bad it gets has a way to be resolved in the end after all. I don't mind it. This was a high budget Sci-Fi movie from the late 1990s so you would expect everything to be top notch which is 100% true for this movie. The story is excellent and it grabs your attention and doesn't let it go till the last minute of the movie. Personally I enjoyed this movie much more than a lot of other 1990s. High budget doesn't always mean an iconic movie who will be remembered even by future generations but this one managed to pull it off.

Sound design - (Excellent. When I watched all the fight, action scenes the special effects gave a satisfying feedback in my ears when someone landed a shot or got knocked out. Everything music-wise felt just right like you would expect.)

Cinematography (Feels like they thought about everything and it has that Transporter Miami vibe to everything.)

Special effects (They are just out of this world and I was even surprised after finding out that the special effects, costumes and designs were made in the 1990s. They still look extremely well in 2019 and I would say they have done a good job and stood the test of the time.)

Overall I think quite a lot of people will enjoy it and very few won't. There isn't exactly too much things to hate about it. Personally, after watching it this feels like one greatest movie 1990s movies so my rating is 10 out of 10. Would recommend to anyone and it would be one of my first choices from the comedy/Sci-fi genre.

I want to talk about a few aspects of the movie.

The story. ( Easy to watch, engaging. It's set in the beautiful state of Vermont where we are introduced to a wide selection of different characters over the course of the movie but this story is mainly focusing on 5 highway troopers who love to prank everyone and make fun of everything while constantly messing up even if they have good intentions. And of course, everything no matter how bad it gets has a way to be resolved in the end after all. I don't mind it. This is a comedy so there are quite a lot of comedic and iconic early 2000s moments. I enjoyed some of them but not all of them and it's okay. I want to talk about a few aspects of the movie.

The story. ( Easy to watch, engaging. It's not set in the beautiful French riviera anymore but across the ocean in Miami where we are once again reunited with Jason Statham in another action/crime packed movie. Time to time you can see references from the first movie and how Frank's life has changed since then. Feels like nothing can be resolved simply in this movie because even the smallest things have to be taken over the top to resolve them. At first I didn't liked that but watching it with an open mind I'm thinking who cares. It's just more of everything. There are few one liners and one returning character who gave à comedic relief to all the action going on and I enjoyed it. Personally I didn't enjoyed this movie as much we the original but all you need to make a good enough movie is likeable characters, kinda excellent bad guys, the right amount of action, fighting, stunts, cars exploding way too much for no reason, romance and one man against the world story and you have made an iconic movie. It doesn't work everytime. It did in the first one but not in this one sadly.

Sound design - (Excellent. When I watched all the fight, action scenes the special effects gave a satisfying feedback in my ears when someone landed a punch or got knocked out. Everything music-wise felt just right like you would expect.)

Cinematography (Feels like they thought about everything and it has that Transporter Miami vibe to everything.)

A story about life, friendship and loyalty until the end.
5 November 2019
I remember watching this movie a few years ago. I kinda remembered parts of but I kept procrastinating watching it again now because I loved it a few years ago. So finally came the day I finally decided to watch it and I must say even after all these years it's quite enjoyable.

I want to talk about a few aspects of the movie.

The story. ( Easy to watch, engaging. It's set in the not so beautiful part of Los Angeles where we are following around the daily lives and struggles of two police officers in an action/crime packed movie which is shot in this interesting documentary, movie-style which was done extremely right. It's a happy/sad story which takes you on a ride through Los Angeles criminal underground. It's a story about friendship and loyalty until the end. An up-close and personal story about being at the wrong place at the wrong time while pushing your luck. Personally, this is one of my favourite examples of how to make a good action movie. It doesn't work every time but it worked this time.

Sound design - (Not the greatest but everything music-wise felt right like you would expect.)

Cinematography (Feels like they thought about everything and it has that dark and happy/scary vibe to everything from which you can never really predict what's about to happen when you are watching it for the first time. I loved how it showed people from different perspectives and how someone's actions affected other people and them in the future.)

Overall I think quite a lot of people will enjoy it and very few won't. Personally, after watching it this feels like not the greatest movie and not the worst one so it's somewhere in the middle around 8 out of 10. Would recommend to anyone and it would be one of my first choices.

Great insight in history even if you don't know nothing about it
3 November 2019
To be honest I'm young and I never have heard about this movie or the legacy behind it. I knew some parts of the real life story but never knew there was a movie made about it. So after someone reccomended I finally decided to watch it with an open mind.

Overall I haven't watched à lot of 1950-1960s movies except for the Bond franchise and this was quite new for me. I enjoyed the movie, how it told it's story, it's characters and how it portrayed them. To me it was even an éducational movie and I liked it. It's about 2hours long and I may revisit it later in the future. The first half of the movie mostly is focusing on Wallis and how he tries to find the perfect Bomb design and the rest of it is focusing on pretty much name of the movie.

Overall I think quite a lot of people will enjoy it and very few won't. Personally, after watching it this feels like a great movie and not bad at all so it's somewhere around 7 out of 10. Would recommend to anyone and would be one of my first choices from this genre.

Give it à chance with an open mind and you will love it
3 November 2019
I remember watching this movie when I was very very young and I kinda remembered parts of but I kept procrastinating watching it again now because I remembered I loved it when I was young. So finally came the day I saw it and I must say even after all these years it's quite enjoyable.

I want to talk about a few aspects of the movie very briefly

The story. ( Easy to watch, engaging, made up of multiple small chapters which lead to the final conclusion. It's a Cartoonish fairyland mixed with some dark real-life messages which I overlooked when I was younger. It's very interesting how realistic they made this movie and personally, I couldn't believe it was shot in 1998. We are once again reunited with the little innocent pig called Babe and his adventures which helps him slowly grow up and teaches him good values. But compared to the first movie this has more darker twists and turns which eventually lead to something good.

Sound design. (Excellent. When I watched the movie everything with music felt just right like you would expect.)

Stunts. ( I wasn't expecting much stunts at all from this franchise but it surprised me with the second movie which is filled with quite a lot of amazing quality stuntwork. From dog chases which feel like car chases but with animals to all the other acrobatic things that happened. I'm still amazed.)

Overall I think quite a lot of people will enjoy it and very few won't. Personally, after watching it this feels like not the greatest movie and not the worst one so it's somewhere in the middle around 7 out of 10. Would recommend to anyone but it wouldn't be my first choice as a family movie.

The legendary Jack Sparrow
26 October 2019
I remember watching this movie when I was very very young and I kinda remembered parts of and I kept procrastinating watching it again now because I remembered I loved it when I was young. So finally came the day I saw it and I must say even after all these years I wasn't disappointed at all.

It's the classic 2000s high budget legendary family friendly movie formula. All you need is to base the story on an interesting topic which in this case was pirates, have high budget likeable le actors, have action/serious scènes which mostly leads to comedic ends, a good and engaging story and everything else you would expect from a high budget 2000s movie. And boom you are making money for many years to come.

The story is as cliché as you would expect, and it's very enjoyable even after all these years. Cliché story, music, effects, amazing visual effects and the amazing Pirates vibe works really well.

Overall I think quite a lot of people will enjoy it and some won't but over the years it has becomed à legendary franchise. Personally, after watching it, this feels like not the greatest movie and not the worst one, it's somewhere in the middle around 8 out of 10. Wouldn't recommend to anyone who wants to go back to à diffrent time and enjoy what is Jack Sparrow up to.

Beatifully made story
26 October 2019
I remember watching YouTube videos and time to time I heard some stories about this bus but never knew there was a movie made about the person. So the day came when I accidentally stumbled across a YouTube video which told à bit about his story and so I started watching it and I must say even after all these years it's quite enjoyable.

I want to talk about a few aspects of the movie very briefly

The story. ( Easy to watch, engaging, made up of multiple chapters which lead to the final conclusion. The story is told in this interesting way which pretty much kept me engaged till the end. The story is about Christopher Mccandles and his rebel free spirit like adventures which start from his graduation till his eventual demise. You can see about 2 years of his life's key évents and people put together in 2hours. And I loved every second of it. I understand he probably had some sort of illness but it helped me live the rebel free spirit dreams I had through him. And that's it. This wasn't made to be the greatest movie ever and it's okay. It fulfilled it's the purpose of entertainment and information and I love it. The movie is made and you can't changé anything about it.

Overall I think quite a lot of people will enjoy it and very few won't. Personally, after watching it this feels like a really great movie and not bad at all so it's somewhere around 9 out of 10. Would recommend to anyone and would be one of my first choices from this genre.

Stallone for me made this kinda watchable

Warning: Spoilers
I remember watching this movie when I was very very young and I kinda remembered parts of and I kept procrastinating watching it again now because I remembered I loved it when I was young. So finally came the day I saw it and I must say even after all these years I was a bit disappointed.

It's the classic 1990s family-friendly movie formula. All you need is to base the story on a lonely guy with a love interest and a person who will come into his life who will try to help him overcome everything he's struggling with. At first, he will refuse but at the end of the movie everything will work out with all the love/hâte relationships. have action/serious scènes which mostly leads to comedy and everything else you would expect from a 1990s movie. Then you will need one or two high profile actors to attract people to the movie and boom you are making money on a bad movie.

The story is as cliché as you would expect, and it's kinda enjoyable even after all these years. Cliché story, music, effects, and the amazing 1990s vibe works kinda well.

Overall I think quite a lot of people won't enjoy it and some will because they watched it many years ago and enjoyed it. Personally, after watching it, this feels like not the greatest movie and not the worst one, it's somewhere in the middle around 5 out of 10. Wouldn't recommend to anyone who wants to see à Stallone movie.

Warning: Spoilers
I remember watching this movie when I was very very young and I kinda remembered parts of but I kept procrastinating watching it again now because I remembered I loved it when I was young and didn't wanted to ruin my good memories of it. So finally came the day I saw it and I must say that even after all these years it's quite enjoyable.

I want to talk about a few aspects of the movie very briefly

The story. ( Easy to watch, engaging, and you can't really predict what will happen next. It's a story about a regular guy whose life changes quite drastically after meeting the devil and accidentally becoming everything he never thought he could. Everything comes true but usually with a twist or two. Sound design. (Excellent. When I watched the movie everything with music felt just right, just like you would expect.) And that's it. This wasn't made to be the greatest movie ever and it's okay. It fulfilled its purpose of entertainment and I love it.

Scary Movie V (2013)

It's not worth your time so don't even bother
13 October 2019
It's the early 2000s parody formula but "butchered" in 2013. All you need is to base the story on few recent and successful high budget movies, make fun of everything and everyone in the most ridiculous ways, have action/horror which mostly leads to comedy which in this case leads to very bad comedy, sexy girls and everything else you would expect from a parody.

It took them 7 years to finally release another Scary movie. My expectations were low but I didn't realize it would be this bad. It has maybe a few funny moments but the rest of it for me was just painful to watch. I managed to watch it all despite that. I tried to watch it as open-minded I as I possibly could but overall the movie feels like it trying too hard and usually doesn't achieve the goal it pursues. I liked the original few movies of the franchise. They are not good but not too terrible. They are kinda alright and even watchable after all these years but this wasn't and feels like the Scary movie magic is gone.

Overall I think a lot of people will not enjoy it and a small portion will. Personally, after watching the original movie this feels like the worst parody I have ever seen so it's a 2 out of 10 and only because I liked one scene otherwise it would be a 1/10 I wouldn't recommend this to anyone familiar or not with parodies at all.

2 hours of pure Breaking Bad magic
11 October 2019
2 hours of pure magic is the only words I can use to describe this masterpiece. When it starts it just grabs your attention, pulls you deeper and deeper and doesn't let go till the last minute.

It's the story the breaking bad fans needed and Vince Gilligan stepped up and delivered what they deserved after all these years. Overall the movie is filled with a lot of unpredictable, suspenseful moments, action, bad guys, flashbacks which help to make more sense to the present and how it all ties in together. It's an approach which I really didn't expect and it surprised me but I love it that they took this route for the movie. To me, this was the right way.

Overall you can expect the breaking bad vibe with its amazing writing, cinematography, sound, set design and everything you would expect from the best. It's the complete package and finally a conclusion to everything.

Overall I think most people will enjoy it and probably a very few won't. Because of course, you can't please everyone, ever. Personally, after watching it this feels like a masterpiece and to me, it's the full package which deserves 10 out of 10. Would recommend to anyone familiar or not with breaking bad.

Everything pretty much comes down to luck
11 October 2019
I remember watching this movie when I was very, very young and I kinda remembered parts of but I kept procrastinating watching it again now because I remembered how much I loved it when I was young and I didn't wanted to ruin the good memory of it. So finally came the day I saw it and I must say even after all these years it's quite enjoyable. The thing is the movie has quite a long setup building up everything and everyone and then everything just happens all at once and very quickly reaches the end. Overall I enjoyed it but looking at everything now it kinda feels like the characters for the most part in the movie don't think things through and just wing it and hope for the best which really puts them in great danger like the movie portrays it but usually à miracle happens in the last second which saves everyone and everything. This pretty much sums up the movie. I understand the movie has been made for pg-13 and you can't change anything about and I'm okay with that.

Overall I think quite a lot of people will enjoy it and some not. Personally, after watching it this feels like not the greatest disaster movie and not the worst one, it's somewhere in the middle around 7 out of 10. Would recommend to anyone familiar or not with the catastrophe movie genre, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Depends on how you look at it
11 October 2019

Overall I think quite a lot of people will not enjoy it and a portion will. Personally, after watching the original movie this feels like not the greatest parody and not the worst one, it's somewhere in the middle around 6 out of 10. It's better than the second movie, worse than the first one and equally good as the third one. Would kinda recommend to anyone familiar or not with parodies, but it wouldn't be my first choice at all.

Not really sure about this
10 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Firstly I understand this is a very sensitive subject to make a movie about and it's extremely hard to please everyone and I don't think it's even possible. Everyone had a different story that day but the producers in this case chose to focus on 2 officers and how they survived the impossible and how it affected their families.

Overall I think it kinda shows the pain and the suffering for everyone with these people, but personally, I think the producers should have gone in a different direction and tell the story differently. It feels weird to say this but I kinda enjoyed the movie. To me, it felt like they should have told the story in a bigger way and not focus so much on a few characters, but the movie is made and you can't do anything about. This is what we got.

Overall I think some people will enjoy watching it and quite a lot not. Personally, after watching it, this feels like not the best movie and not the worst one, it's somewhere in the middle around 7 out of 10. But still, you can't take away it's legacy which will live forever. Wouldn't recommend to anyone for many different reasons and would rather recommend to just watch a documentary.

Personally, after watching the original movie this feels like not the greatest parody at all and not the worst one, it's somewhere in the middle around 5 out of 10. Would kinda recommend to anyone familiar or not with parodies, but it wouldn't be my first choice at all.

The early 2000s iconic parody
6 October 2019
It's the classic early 2000s parody formula. All you need is to base the story on few recent and successful high budget movies, make fun of everything and everyone in the most ridiculous ways, have action/horror which mostly leads to comedy, sexy girls and everything else you would expect from a parody.

It's a time capsule for anyone who wants to go back to the early days and remember "Shorty" and all the other iconic situations and characters of the movie.

The story is as cliché as you would expect from a parody movie, but it's not a bad thing at all and it's very enjoyable even after all these years. Cliché story, music, effects, and the amazing 2000s vibe works extremely well.

Overall I think quite a lot of people will enjoy it and quite lot not. Personally, after watching it, this feels like not the greatest parody and not the worst one, it's somewhere in the middle around 7 out of 10. But still you can't take away it's legacy which will live forever. Would recommend to anyone familiar or not with parodies, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

The Asia themed James Bond movie
30 September 2019
James Bond is back and he's on another mission to save the world. It's the classic James Bond formula, which keeps evolving. More bad guys, action, one-liners, gadgets, girls, things exploding way too much for no reason and everything you would expect from a Bond movie. This time his adventures bring Bond to Asia and it mostly takes place around Japan and it's exciting.

It's a time capsule for anyone who wants to go back to the early days to understand Bond better and watch how the movie series has evolved over time.

The story is as cliché as you would expect from a Bond movie, but it's not a bad thing at all and it's very enjoyable even after all these years. Cliché story, music, effects, and the amazing 1960s vibe of Japan works extremely well.

This movie feels quite refined out of the early Bond movies and personally I liked Goldfinger more but this one was pretty good too. Overall I think quite a lot of people will enjoy it. Personally, after watching Goldfinger this feels like not the greatest one of them all and not the worst one it's somewhere in the middle around 8 out of 10. Would recommend to anyone familiar or not with the Bond franchise but it wouldn't be my first choice.

The impossible heist
26 September 2019
It's the impossible movie heist recipe which requires a couple of big-time movie stars, one bad guy, a team, a plan which most likely isn't planned that good, quite a lot of things which should fall conveniently down to luck or chance to happen smoothly, enjoyable music, atmosphere in which the movie takes place, playing illusions with the movie characters and you to reach the final conclusion of how they pulled it off. I remember watching this movie when I was young and I remembered quite a lot of things even watching it now. As a young kid I enjoyed this movie but watching it now I enjoyed it too but I applied logic to make sense of the heist which I shouldn't had. Overall I think it's not an excellent and not a bad movie. It's somewhere in the middle for casual watching but you shouldn't try to apply logic too much or you will ruin it for yourself.

Would recommend to anyone who wants to see one of their favourite movie stars pull off a heist but it wouldn't be my first choice. Overall 7/10

The underwater James Bond movie

James Bond is back and he's on another mission to save the world. It's the classic James Bond formula, which keeps evolving. More bad guys, action, one-liners, gadgets, girls, things exploding way too much for no reason and everything you would expect from a Bond movie. It takes place around the world but in this movie, it mostly takes place around or under the water and it's exciting.

It's the original time capsule for anyone who wants to go back to the early days to understand Bond better and watch how the movie series began and evolved over time.

The story is as cliché as you would expect from a Bond movie, but it's not a bad thing at all and it's very enjoyable even after all these years. Cliché story, music, effects, and the amazing 1960s vibe works extremely well.
