Thiruchitrambalam (2022)

Will not satisfy everyone

First of all its a very well casted film. Dhanush,Prakash Raj,Bharathi Raaja sir and the very charming Nithya Menon. Trust me you will fall for Nithya on screen. Aniruth's score seemed a mix of vip vibes. Screenplay was nice and duration is not lengthy these are all good things of it. And yes Dhanush after a long time on theatres but he chose not to do a mass/masala film and thats a good thing too. But what looks here flat was there is no such grippy or even emotionally connected story. They have tried to just moves the story with bunch of moments yet its missing something and finally the climax is what made me disappointed not everyone's cup of tea,well its obviously not mine.

Vikram (2022)

A ticket to Lokesh's Universe

There were so much of fan theories around when the trailer was released. Well thats probably it. The way he connected the this film's story with Kaithi was exceptional. By hinting to re-watch Kaithi before entering into Vikram world, there started a phenomenal hype towards the film. Now coming to the film, Kamal sir did what is needed for the film. A subtle and tremendous performance. Fahadh in the other hand a unsung lead for the film, who untie the knots to make us more interesting. Vijay Sethupthi had the lower screen space and less performance comparing to the others. The last freaking cameo of Suriya was outstanding and a brilliant move to put on us on edge. Whole audience erupted. Now coming to the flaws the story was much predictable and screenplay was slow at some points in both first half as well as second half but overall a out and out action flick with suprise elements and terrific perfomers. Aniruth travels us with his music throughout the film with efficient energy. Overall a satisfied watch.

Bloody Mary (I) (2022)

100% CRAP

A movie with no logics, not even a base story, no better characters , no gripping screenplay.! A worst watch in recent times. Even cant bare the 91 minutes. Every single scene seems artificial. Never worked out for me in any aspects. The even worst part is the climax never thought of it would come like this. A wholesome crap movie which would be better if they not made it. There are so much of elevation/slow motion scenes with so called mass bgms, but why? What are you saying through those scenes ? Never ever try to watch this. A BIG warning.

Beast (II) (2022)

Thalapathy's Swaggy Performance Went in Vein

Very illogical story line also a very small story line with that movie falls accordingly. Aniruth does an aniruth again. He solely manage to bring out the best in him. But that too went in vein as there is no gripping story or screenplay or characters and all. Vijay is swaggy and damn smart but that didnt add much to the film as it is pointless. Nelson's datk comedy where? I thought he could however manage the film with his dark humor but that is totally missing and deeply disappointing. Overall its not even a celebrating occasions even for Vijay fans. Thats the worst case scenario here.

RRR (2022)

As a story, there is no such twist and turns and non linear activities like that. A straight and almost one line story with the two biggies made it easier. First half was very good even there was no such flaws of screenplay even the run time was almost more than 90 mins. The problem was the second half of the movie, which badly falls. In tha name of emotions they have poorly executed the screenplay which falls desperately. When it comes the vfx's(except animal effects) everything was visibly attractive. The fire and the water act for the actors worked very well in most of the aspects. The climax fight and the making was actually not satisfying when compared to the first half fight sequences. Overall a technicall strong with flaws in some vfx scenes and with the flawly writted second half, yes we can enjoy it once for the technical brilliance.

Veerame Vaagai Soodum (2022)

From the start itself there is no gripping over the story line, a narrow and many time seen story with the same kind of treatment, totally bored on each and every minute. Never thought it would be this much worst. Even without songs i dont know why this story elevated for this much of length. Whether the acting is good or not when there is no grip in the story who can appreciate acting?. A big no who just want to watch it for just the entertainment. There is no such thing.

Pon Manickavel (2020)

An artificial and highly predictable drama

Wanted to watch it only for PrabhuDeva as he acted first time as a cop. All the characters were seem artificial, even PrabhuDeva too seems artificial at some points, the cop role doesnt fit him well in my pov. And last the story was highly predictabe and there are some twists and that too guessable easily. Do watch it at your very own risk.

Lift (III) (2021)

A very normal story with some moments

Well the cast is good enough for the story and the screenplay. Background score is good at some moments. After around 45 mins its getting bored for sometime and then its lifting up again so it actually up and down screnplay after all. Yet the horror elements are great and end story falls totally. The story doesnt gives the justification for the horror elements. One time watcable. It wont be a big disappointment. Yet it disappoints at some places.

Only for the Legend Vivekh Sir

I never watched this show before in any other languages. So it is fully fresh for me. I watched it only for the legend Vivekh sir is acted as host here. Why is he gone very soon?. His energy in this show is phenomenal. When it comes to show its actually quiet normal there is no great thing about it. The last set ofcontestants is put some great efforts and its good to see their hardworks. I know Abishek Kumar from Comicstaan itself. He is having a true potential when it comes for stand up comedy. Not a great but definitely a good watch.

Kasada Thapara (2021)

Intriguing connect that made me wonder

It is fully based on both butterfly effect and vantage point theories. We've known about both the theories which most of the hollywood films are already released based this. Maybe its the first time it comes in kollywood cinema i dont know exactly. But not the artists or story or screenplay but thw connect director used here is absolutely not guessable and thats the major thing here. Yet some story and logics is not acceptable but the engaging thought of how will it connect to others will made you move throughout the film. The hyperlinks is just amazing. Watch it for the connect that blow the mind away.

Stop filming anthology please!

Once again outdated mess.

Each and every one of nine parts lags and disappoints.

1. Ethiri - Whether the casting is strong the story and emotions falls apart. Nothing exposed.

2. Summer of 92 - This emotion is named as laughter, also they had a big opportunity to do that with casting like Yogi Babu. Still went on vein.

3. Project Agni - The only good thing happened in this Navarasa. The screenplay stands tall and casting too. Too much English sequences will confuse the audience more than the script itself.

4. Payasam - They called it embarrassing, is it ? Its fully compiled with jealousy.

5. Peace - The end is not actually replicates the title. The one good thing here is that long single shot.

6. Roudhram - They call it anger, what I witnessed is Embarrassing. But the making and casting is good here. Yet it never exposed the emotion anger.

7. Inmai - Another good thing in this navarasa is this film's casting. Both siddharth and parvathy does it well. Sidhharth really exposed the emotion fear. But the execution is not great.

8. Thunitha Pin - No word is there to explain how useless this film. Really no words.

9. Guitar Kambi Mele Ninru - As usual Gautam menon stuff not great and also it takes too much of time around 48mins, in this duration they could have explained very well but still something touch emotion missing here. Songs are good and casting is great.

Overall there is no such worst anthology like this. And please stop doing like this.

Thittam Irandu (2021)

Fascinated with the climax

Though it started with the normal murder investigation thriller, the climax portion that makes me amazed. They have taken an absolutely out of box story and make it correct way to reach and make connect for the audience. Actual story revloves around the three immense characters that written well in the beginning itself. A great effort and that too not went in vein, thats the victory here. Of course there are some logical flaws with timeline but it still gripping and fascinating. Do watch it without expectations, it will give you a different experience. Just wow.

Sarpatta Parambarai (2021)

Ranjith - A revolutionary cinematic rebel

A great sport political drama in recent times with also conmects the period time line with actual truths behind the boxing. Its an absolute delight to watch it on for like 174 mins. It never felts like around 3 hours. The way Ranjith writing screenplay for his movies is still an amazed one. Arya's career be(a)st performance. He needs to search his roles like this to prove he is an immense performer. Pasubathy is lit. He is actually a gem actor who do any roles to make an impact with us. John Vijay is an easy scorer as always, here he attracts us all with his daddy role. I still get amazed that how they find an actor for the dancing rose character, he is negative role in this film but still we liked him is his victory here. We can talk about all the characters all dy, because this movie is not a part for main lead while all the characters are written well with intense depths. There is no flaws here. Santosh Narayanan works are very impressive these days. He is upgrading himself by doing what the movie needs. Everyone is perfect. I never felt like this before in recent times. The way ranjith dealt with the on and off stage politics with real incidents connects are just wow. Take a bow whole team.

Malik (I) (2021)

Malik a.k.a Masterpiece

The story revolves around a man named Ahammadali Sulaiman ( also known as Ali Ikka) who wants to develop his place where he lived his whole life. And there are some political issues which crosses his path towards the development of his place. And there happens the political riots which made between the two religions. Fahadh elevated the whole movie. Every casting is perfect. Duration is not even a thing for this movie. In fact, i feel the film was finished very quickly. Go watch it and enjoy Fahadh on screen. Yes you can smell some shades of Vadachennai and Nayakan but yet it stays strong with what it intended to be.

Sara's (2021)

Clean and neat

A story of the struggles faced by an aspiring young woman who wants to be a director. When it comes to family,loves and kids, it will be more stress than our very own dream. This explains it very well. A clean and neat way of showing the struggles is the noticeable and appreciatable. Here they have took the route of not too emotional and so easy ways to show their plot. Thats good but not a good enough. In between somehow film struggled to move further. Thats all the flaws i have noticed so far. Otherwise, its a decent watch.

Haseen Dillruba (2021)

Not bad but as well as not disappointed

A kind of love triangle story which starts with a murder investigation of a husband and police suspects the wife. And wife trying to explain herself as an innocent, with some poetic ways as she is a big fan of a crime thriller novelist. Yet the screenplay is slow but both the leads made us to attach towards the entire film. But the climax is easily predictable and not even made an impact to what they tried to tell. So overall a decent watch for the leads. They should reduce the running time length.

Shaadisthan (2021)

Parents should watch this!

A clear view of how parents giving burdens to their child for their society sickness. Especially for girls. A simple 93mins of narrow story but yet leaves some messages to the typical indian parents who never asked what their child always wanted to be. Though the emotional scenes are not so well connected but still clearly explained what the crews intended to. So just give it a chance. Somehow all the pre adults can connect it with their life. And thats the pros of this film. If you had a chance, watch it with your parents.

November Story (2021– )

Surprisingly good

Probably the best web series in tamil so far. I watched mostly all tamil series. But this is actually uplifting the whole series tracks in kollywood. I never underestimated the series shows in kollywood because there are too many good creators out there, but still there is something missed when it comes to web series and now that is justified. A perfect writing and casting makes it an wholesome package. Each and every characters potrayal and depth is noticeable. Especially Pasubathi nailed. Do watch it even if you are not a big fan for indian web series. It will change your mind.

Karnan (2021)

A ground of applause for entire team

The entire effort uplifted this wholesome masterpiece. How oppression strikes a set of peoples is the plot. With that plot,maari selvaraj writing for the screenplay and dialogues is perfectly splendid. Simple story with perfect output of music,art,dop,cinematography. All the actors gives their 100%. Each and every scenes elevation will haunt you for sure. How perfectly a team can work.? You will see the answers in Karnan. Highly recommended.

Technically perfect.

The total film is developing around a single family. A rich family. The plot is great. The story line is narrow and pitch perfect. All the actors does the great work. The screenplay is done well too. The main attraction of the film is the cinematography,art, and the background score. They given a great treatment with the bg score towards the scenes. Some the top angle shots are amazing. The climax is gives morality to the bad things is much notable. A different story yet again in malayalam cinema. Worth every minute.

Watch it for the performances

More like a single room drama with three fantastic artists. The way they sustains us with the mysterious moments was absolutely brilliant. What suffers here is they could have leave some story behind the situations or they could have leave some traces at least to get in touch with the story line. Otherwise, they showed what they intended to. That also with 90 mins of running length was the big plus. Dont know why the rating was low for this well made mystery thriller. Do watch it before considering the rating. Technically well made movie in all aspects. Like cinematography,background score,art.

A average story with poor execution

Another burst movie in OTT.The story started with a good start, that too continued upto the intermission. Then started the poor execution. Even there is no such story in the first half, but still the first half was good. There is no grippy screenplay nor story nor the characters arc. Sayeesha(female lead) actually done a guest role throughout the movie. Magizh thirumeni(villian) actually a good director but he had just few scenes and there is no such a great scene for him is disappointing. A scam of organs stealing was the centre point of the film, yet it was never clearly explained. Previous Shakti Soundar Rajan films was far better when comparing to this one. Clearly disappointing. Give it a try if you have to.

Damn, Will leaves You With Numbers Of Questions

A pure poetic/bibilic way of potraying good and bad.First of all it was first planned to release on 2016,after 5 years so many hurdles, its get released today. A horror movie with an absolute different solution. The way selva handled to potray the characters is brilliance. More like a single home drama which solely connects the character of Mariam and Ramsey. Its more like good vs bad. Yuvan gives more sole to the film for the connect with the audience. Overall a totally differnet treatment to the typical horror films which was have a templates till now. Its kind of selva's world and selva's treatment of horror. You will leave the screens with many questions unanswered. SJ Suryah,Regina and Nanditha gives their full fledged performances.

Chakra (2021)

Started like Irumbuthirai but ended like a mediocre movie

The way this film started was amazing and suddenly dropped with so much of flaws and loopholes. Easily predictable scenes and dialogues makes it a not worthy watch. Pre climax portions was actually dragged to get the 2 hours length mark. The hack person was found before the 30 mins of the movie itself, but as like the most of tamil cinema scenes dragged by a challenge which was taken by hero and the villian which makes it even worse climax. No songs to drag more wad only the best move. Try it at your own risk.

A non attractive Family entertainer

First of all happy for str and his bounce back with his physique. But that's not the point here. Where is our old suseenthiran?. Still can't digest the movie. 2 hours yet dragging. Screenplay was never impressive. Bored within first 30 mins itself. Best bg score after Sketch for Thaman is Tamil industry. We want this str with more content movies. Watch it at your own risk.
