You don't have to be Polish to enjoy!
I came across this show while scrolling, and I have to say, it's hysterical! I'm an American who doesn't know anything about Polish history or how to speak Polish, but I find it hilarious. Pro tip: watch it in the original language with subtitles. The dub isn't great.
There's a lot of physical comedy, plus a lot of similar quirks as The Office and Parks & Rec. Looking at the camera, forbidden love interest, incompetent boss, etc etc.
I'm only on episode 3, but it's been a great watch so far! Definitely a bright spot to an awful week. I can't wait to finish this show and watch it again and again!
Give it a chance, it'll charm you!

Such a phenomenal adaptation
I literally finished the book and immediately put the movie on. It was such a beautiful story and I couldn't wait to watch it play out on the big screen. I was so worried that, like most adaptations, they'd change a lot and ruin the book for me.
That's not even a little bit what happened. Sure, they changed a few key plot points to make the story flow a little better (#wehateMiguel), and axed a couple characters, but it was an absolutely perfect book to screen translation.
It definitely helps that the actors were both adorable and charming. They perfectly captured the essence of their respective characters and brought them to life. I'm probably going to rewatch the movie a dozen times because it was beautifully done. Bravo!
