Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins (2021)
Huge disspaoinment. Lazy fight scenes and even worse plot.
Huge disappointment. Lazy fight scenes couldn't be saved by the even worse script and character development. A shame that a cool character had to go to absolute waste with this terrible film.
Without Remorse (2021)
Jodie Turner ruins a promising movie with unbearably stiff acting
Michael B does a solid job delivering what he can given a confusing yet cliche action plot. Jodie however delivered what can only be described as a laughable attempt at acting. Incredibly stiff,
disingenuous, and just downright amateur. She couldn't even sell me on the idea that she wanted to be there.

Screw Women
Screw Women. Good heavens I have never been so annoyed by an actor. Pike had a great character but holy beans she is such an annoying actor.

Utter Incompetence in Plot
How cliche can a spy movie get. It honestly baffles me just how bady they want the movie to be filled with action but still resolve in a positive feel good manner. How many friggin movies are in the world where the day is saved because the villain monologues for too long???? Come on.....Literally a countdown is happening on the phone and mr villain's great idea is to stand directly next to the one person trying to stop you. 5 minute timer??? Who the frick would do that? Who the frick puts an off switch on a timer for that purpose?
Overall an excruciatingly cliche movie that had me rolling my eyes half the time. Success was just given to the good guys because of the sheer ineptitude of the villains.
Serenity (2019)
What was that?
Straaaaange movie. I'm all for a twist in a movie but this was just too out there for my taste. Weird existential crisis that hardly made any sense. It would have been a great movie without the whole video game world mumbo jumbo. Really not great at all. Also, probably the worst performance I have ever seen from Hathaway. Her initial entrance in the bar and every line from her after that left me cringing. Take the stick out of your rear and loosen up my heavens...
Arctic (2018)
Left me wanting more
I am a sucker for a good ending. This of course had an objectively good ending, being rescued. But man it was just not satisfying at all. Mads is a phenomenal actor and I really was looking forward to seeing him shine in this but all we get is brief facial expressions behind a scarf. In the end he gets rescued but we don't even get to see his reaction or relief. VERY DUMB! All the while there is this absolutely hopeless chick who is incapacitated for literally weeks. I am no medical professional but she was practically in a coma for the entire film. How does that happen from a bump on the head and an infected wound? All the while we are forgetting that there is no search effort going on at all. Despite his crash being about 75-100 miles away from a station (if he can walk there through the snow and carrying someone in less than a week it has to be under 100 miles away). We ignore radio equipment from a plane and a helicopter. His little homing beacon turns out to be a detector of sorts that only goes off when someone else is around? What's up with that? Pretty pointless survival equipment. If it was broadcasting something it definitely should have been able to reach the station. I wanted to really like the show but there just wasn't enough meat to leave me feeling satisfied.

This was the ending??
What a dumb movie.... Like really. I'm all for movies that break norms and have an "artsy" element to them but this just plain missed the mark. What a terrible "conclusion" to the trilogy. So much potential absolutely wasted. When I found out this was the last movie in a trilogy I was extremely disappointed. All the main characters died. I had no idea who I was supposed to be rooting for. This secret society comes out of nowhere 10 minutes before the end of the film and gets zero zero explanation and or reasoning for existing. Ooof. Just a bad movie. Sarah Paulson was horrific. What a stiff non emotional piece of wood that leaves you confused with every line. It's no Avatar the Last Air Bender disaster from Mr Shyamalan but it was pretty dang close. The only saving grace is McAvoy and his brilliant acting.

Boring Boring Boring
Too long. Literally 2 hours of watching a guy stand there. Seriously seriously boring. I was screaming for it to just be over.
Mile 22 (2018)
Eh
I am a sucker for good endings and this one just left me frustrated. Actions scenes were phenomenal and very intense. Obviously the overall idea of something like this being feasible is zero, BUT that being considered the plot within is also unrealistic. A russian triple agent? Ridiculous. The whole motivation behind this overbearing russian presence is just plain frustrating. Some screw off of a son gets killed doing illegal things and a menopausing russian takes her rath out on the most elite force the world has to offer. Just silly. The story was alright albeit everyone dying just ticked me off because as I stated i'm a sucker for good endings and I feel like I lost at the end of this movie. If it does turn into a sequel it might have a chance to redeem itself but as a standalone it just left me annoyed and dissapointed in the last two minutes.
