Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
Made absolutely no sense to me
I wish I had stopped watching it. I just didn't get it. It made no sense to me. I know it's meant to be a bit matrixy but at least that movie had a storyline I could follow. I would not recommend this movie and I do not understand how it won any awards never mind best picture! Maybe I'm not clever enough for this movie. I really wanted to like it. I like all the actors in it but like I said I could not follow the storyline. I got the whole if she does something really weird she could get to another dimension bit but other than that it just seemed like my 2 year old nephew made it up. Really weird.
Midnight in the Switchgrass (2021)
Terrible script. Terrible Acting
Not much else to say. Script is cheesy. Acting is not good. Shame as there are some good actors in the movie. I guess the director is to blame. I would be furious if I was the truck stop killer because this movie is baaaaaaad.
SAS: Red Notice (2021)
Terrible film, badly acted.
There's quite a lot of decent actors in this film and they've managed to turn them into all in to bad actors. The script it terrible, it's over acted. Sky need to stop trying to make movies.
Greenland (2020)
No chemistry between lead actors. Annoying stereotypes and plot lines
Not a fan or Gerard Butler tbh but thought I'd give it a go. The script is one of the most predictable I've watched with every cliche going. Lead actress is poor at best and the kid is annoy. The family unit relationships don't feel believable at all.
The Deceived (2020)
Bad acting. Bad screenwriting
The lead actress was terrible. The script was just ridiculous. I couldn't get past the first episode. Do not waste you're time.
Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector (2020)
So disappointing
I love the books. I love the movie with Denzel in but this is just so disappointing. The actors are just terrible. It's all a little too convenient. The guy who plays Lincoln comes across as condescending but not in the right way. They don't do the crime scenes right - I mean where are the booties and the protective suits. It just doesn't wash for me. Lincoln Ryhme would not stand for this shoddy work! I can't believe the author of the books has seen these episodes and given approval. What a waste of an excellent concept. This could have been so good. Instead it's soooooo bad.
Thirteen (2016)
Comer was amazing but the story just didn't ring true
There's no way the police would treat Ivy as a suspect like they did - she'd been through 13 years of trauma - they would have treated with much more kindness and understanding.
The acting was brilliant - especially Comer, as usual.
And the title music was just terrible. Totally didn't go with the vibe of the series. Actually put me off wanting to watch the next episode!
Somewhere Between (2017)
Paula Patton is terrible. As is the storyline.
I watch some rubbish but this is the worst. Paula Patton overacts at every opportunity. And then the story is just awful. The kid is a brat (who also cannot act well) and then the story just isn't believeable. If a kid had a "deadly" allergy to sesame then there is no way she wouldn't know and ask about it. So the fact she "accidentally" eats a cookie with it in is just ridiculous. I couldn't watch it past the 2 episode. Shame as most of the other actors are pretty good.
