Married to Damaris Lewis
19 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
You are married to Damaris Lewis and you are going to mess it up by messing around with Hilary Swank??? How stupid. Then a couple more stupid things happen and we end up with a mess of a film. Fatal Attraction did it better. The acting was pretty good --- especially by Hilary Swank. However, it still felt like a B movie.

Rod Serling would be turning over in his grave
17 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I have seen the first eight episodes and I must say that instead of the Twilight Zone they should have just called this "The Political Zone". So much garbage is shoved down your throat with every episode. The only thing I like about it is they show you part of next week's political message. This is NOT what the Twilight Zone was intended to be.

Major spoilers
30 September 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Bella is the dumbest person I have ever seen. To get a new teddy bear they break in to some warehouse protected by a mechanical dog. The dog goes after Anthony and Anthony tells her to run. Instead she just stands there waiting for the metallic dog to finish with him and start towards her. Then later on she is in one car and the dog in another. The dog kills Clarke in the second car and instead of using that time to put as much distance between her and that hound from hell she sits there waiting until the dog can get the vehicle coming after her again. Finally, when she throws the tracker in a bottle into the river and starts moving away from it. I thought finally she is doing something intelligent but that was short lived. Not too far away and still in hearing range of the dog she decides to stop pull out her walkie talkie and start talking into it. By this point I started rooting for the dog to put her out of my misery. (O_O) The dog wins because she manages to be stupid till the end. I did like this in black and white. It would not have had near the same effect in color.

How stupid can they be?
28 July 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I tuned into this show because of Beth Riesgraf whom I used to love watching in Leverage and Jason O'Mara who I used to watch in Vegas and Terra Nova before those three shows wrongly got canceled. However, in this show, I kept thinking to myself --- for some supposedly educated people they sure are stupid. For example, in episode 7 instead of agreeing to steal the drugs to get the guy off the phone why not agree until he left THEN call the gang and let them take care of it. In episode 8 instead of John going down there after having killed some one of their gang members why not just have Gretchen go instead. She already has been there successfully and they have good feelings towards her. She ended up having to go there any way to rescue him. Better yet, why not just call the cops? And what did he think was going to happen when he told the first gang that they were going to be attacked??? LOL... Beth Riesgraf is pretty much the only reason I keep watching.

Cannot believe that I am giving a Christian movie only 4 stars
19 April 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I cannot believe that I am giving a Christian movie only 4 stars but there it is. One for the boy, one for the girl, one for the wife and one for what they tried to do. There are just so many things I did not like. The casting of some of the characters such as Greg Kinnear as the pastor. Sure, he did a OK job but, I couldn't help seeing him as the drunk or con man that he plays a lot. I also disliked most of the sermons. That beginning one for example. They had a chance to reach hundreds of thousands of people. Atheists and agnostics who would not normally set foot in church and the best they could come up with was a lion, bear and unicorn? Instead they could have done something like him standing up there saying, "How many of you consider yourselves a good enough person to get into Heaven?" A lot of them raise their hands. Then he could have said "Ok, let's test that out. Have you ever lied. Have you ever stolen something? Now Jesus said that if we look at someone with lust we have committed adultery with her in our hearts. and finally, have you ever used God's name in vain? That is called blasphemy. That is only a few of the Commandments and some of you have already admitted to being a lying, thieving, adulterous, blasphemer. When you are judged by God will you be found innocent or guilty?" Instead, they decided to give a message that sounds like what you would tell the kids that have been called to the front of the church. Then the pastor needs to reread Revelation 19:11 so he can learn that Jesus does have a horse. Finally, he kept saying the Lord's prayer no matter the situation. Yes, I know it is in both Matthew and Luke but again they had a chance to touch a lot of people and missed the mark.

The Bible verse that my phone popped up before I started writing this was 1 Peter 2:2-3.

For a short it was not that bad
9 November 2009
Warning: Spoilers
The woman was the best thing in this movie (translation she is hot). The two mistakes are when the shooter calls Mary the phone number he calls has one too many digits and when you hear him talking you do not see his lips moving. The main problem with this movie is it is not very realistic. Even if their plan worked out it was a stupid plan in that she is seen by many people walking around with her ex-husband minutes before he is killed. Why not just meet him in front of the building he is going to be killed at? Then after her current boyfriend prematurely kills him then she exclaims "Now we don't know about the insurance!" It is simple. If afterwords the insurance company came over with a big check then of course that meant that he still had an insurance policy with her listed as the beneficiary. If the insurance company did not come around with a check then that means that either he no longer had the insurance policy or that she was no longer listed as a beneficiary.

Marsha Thomason....need I say more?
30 June 2009
I will watch anything that has Marsha Thomason in it. That is what went wrong with the show "Vegas". They let her get away. I had never even heard about this show I was just clicking down the list of shows she has been in when I saw that this has a few full episodes. I am glad it did. This is a really good show with a great cast. Kinda like a "Sanford and son" meets "Dallas". I am surprised it only did one season. After all it had Marsha Thomason in it. Unfortunately, I have only seen the first few episodes so far. Does anybody know why this is no longer on the air? Did Marsha Thomason leave or something? I feel this happens with a lot of really good shows. The network fails to advertise it enough and then they sit back and wonder why no one is watching. If anybody has the other episodes please let me know at Brainwave68@yahoo.com. If Marsha reads this feel free to send me an autographed picture. <(*_*)> Thanx

Idiot Judge
24 June 2009
Warning: Spoilers
The guy should have the right to choose if he wants to go back to the way he was. If I had been in his shoes with my choices being have the chip taken out and live for sure but go back to being severely retarded or having the chip left in and possibly dying but being left with a brilliant mind I would have chosen the chip as well. After all, you risk dying anytime you leave the house and even if you do not leave it. The judge made a stupid decision in this case. It would have made more sense to let the "stars" of this show lose this one. It also would have made the rest of the season a lot less predictable. Also, the lady can say now that she will stay with him (probably until she burns through his $5 million) but does she really want to go from being a wife to a babysitter. She says at the end that she promises she will not make him live a life he does not want to live...huh?? Wasn't the whole show about her doing just that? If that was actually the case she would have not put him through this...but she has 5 million reasons why.

imho
26 May 2009
Warning: Spoilers
The least interesting of the story lines is the crazy guy that freaks out every time he sees water or starts hearing his dead brother talking to him. I wish they would just do away with that. The part with the kid keeping one as a pet is my favorite part although I also like Lake Bell's part too although that may just be because she is so hot. I did not find this program until after the series was long gone. I kept looking for Fathom which is what I had seen it advertised as. Just three more lines to go LOL. I also wish that IMDb.com would relax on the required length of their comments. Why can it not be just five lines instead of ten lines?

Clint Black
20 April 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I do not like Clint Black. Week after week he proves that he is not the man I once thought he was. This week was another fine example. When they exited the boardroom after Hershel Walker got fired Joan goes to Hershel by the elevator and says how sorry she is to see him go, etc. Clint on the other hand practically sprints back to the suite. I kind of understand why he did that when it was the unpredictable Dennis Rodman although I still would not have but is there any man he does not fear? The gracious thing to have done would have been to let him know that he was sorry that somebody had to be fired. Having said that Mr. Trump was correct in firing Hershel. It was his desert idea that the execs did not like. I think Annie wins this if she can just stop being so hard on herself (j/k). Actually, she really is the best she just needs to learn that it is not all Annie. She gets there on the back of her team and if she would exalt them more she would find that it truly raises herself after all she cannot lift herself even one inch but with the team the sky truly is the limit. She needs to make peace quickly. This is BUSINESS.

If I had been Tom...
20 March 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I would have said that "Yes, it is true I was going for a certain look for our store. Although, you may have thought the look was not right for what we were trying to accomplish it was effective enough that while the women's store was empty ours was booming. The difference was so evident to the women that they came over to our store and literally dragged our customers back to their store. That having been said I agree with Jesse both Tom and Dennis should have been fired. Tom- Cruddy leader. You actually, have to be there to lead. If nothing else he could have delegated the so-called knocking to somebody else. By not doing so he as much as said that they are more valuable to the team then he. Dennis- He could potentially be the most valuable player on the mens team. He has not shown ANY potential and has in fact dragged others down with him. It amazes me to say this but the only one on the mens team that I would have if I was a CEO is Jesse.
