How I Met Your Mother: How Your Mother Met Me (2014)
Absolutely mesmerizing. It does not get any better than this.
This episode is without a doubt the greatest episode of the entire show. An emotional roller coaster which holds the essence of the story that is portrayed throughout the whole series. The poignancy, the beauty, the tragedy and the sheer brilliance all mixed in one is what makes this episode a milestone, and a very unique one at that. I absolutely loved the tiny details so impeccably scattered all around, taking the viewer on an instant ride all the way back to the beginning of this story, using refreshing flashbacks and recollections. The magnificent summary of this episode directly points to a job very well done by the writers, the cast, and especially Cristin Milioti (the mother) whose performance is outstanding and unquestionably what makes this episode so special. She is undeniably the perfect fit for the role. If it were up to me, I would end the show with this episode, because it is exactly the ending this show deserves and nothing else.
This is the kind of episode you always gravitate back to, no matter how many times you've watched it. And you enjoy it every single time.
Ask 101 (2020)
I'm in awe
Okay. It's 5 in the morning, and I just finished watching Love 101. Let me tell you: I am completely blown away.
At first I was skeptical, since every Turkish TV show is known to be a complete disaster and a big old cliche. I expected nothing more than a mediocre love story and some very dramatic scenes that make you cringe. Oh boy was I wrong.
This show is the epitome of an emotional roller coaster. This show portrays a story about friendship, love, self-acceptance, change, rebellion, defying standards, life, pain, true happiness and sorrow, all in one, that simply takes your breath away. At one moment you're laughing out loud and the next moment your eyes are filling up with tears. It is genuinely funny and heartwarming, and at the same time extremely melancholic. It is also very clever, amazing writing, and manages to stay quite original. The cast is just perfect; the way they manage to bring this beautiful story to life is simply fascinating. A bonus are some stunning shots of one of the most beautiful cities in the world- Istanbul. This show is definitely worth your time, and you won't regret watching it.
To summarize, I can say that this show is a Turkish masterpiece. They've officially outdone themselves.
Now if you'll excuse me... I'm going to sleep. And thank you, to the creators, to the cast and everyone involved. This show is a nothing less than a blessing.
The Bling Ring (2013)
Should've been called The bo-ring
The most unrealistic movie I have ever seen. It doesn't make any sense and it's also very monotonous. Wasted time on this one. Catastrophic performances by all of the cast as well.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The Box (2018)
Mind blown.
Hands down the best episode of Brooklyn 99 so far. A spicy mix of detectiveness and humor, that leaves a person on the edge of their seat throughout the whole episode.
