A fresh breath of fresh air within the constant average series all streaming services drop every day.

Of course you need to open your mind to change from American bling bling and Korean energy to take a deep dive into the Antwerp Jew community. Great tempo and acting, and very original scénario.

Honestly i do not understand the critics and negative reviews. Its like art. If you ar not able to absorb that what you get served in front of you, you will never ever appreciate it or feel comfortable watching it. But than leave in silence and dont start writing negative about it.

So be and enjoy .

Don't waste your precious time

Wjy do i rate it a two . I rarely rate negative experiences. But this had all the potential of a great action movie but they treated us, the viewers as imbeciles that would accept this... whatever you wanna call it.

So why a two. Even plain entertainment should still respect its audience. I know its philosophical but if you see what budget, story, actors and platform they have at their disposal we are allowed to be critical. Bushwick. The evidence that somethings were better in the good old days of cinema and the tsunami on content today drowns us in superficial absorbsion of average. Have a nice day :-)

20 years ago big stars started in digestable, classic action thrillers made for deompressing on the sofa on a Friday evening. Neflix is great but fast media killed this "genre" and experience. A nostalgic 10 for this pure entertainment.

Yes it is. One of those hidden gems of European cinema. Set in the Flanders Field region, spoken in local dialects. This series is as brilliant as the broken English they speak. So do not dub. Just enjoy, it's unique in its tempo, storytelling and punchlines.

I am a dedicated critical movie watcher. I do not understand the poor reviews here. This movie provides perfectly what the creators had in mind as objective. And what we as watchers could expect. Piece of cinematographic art. Its a cult movie, just not every cult movie is exentric without pink

But not once the suffering and certain death of Stoffel Vandoorne at McLaren in it. Shows the heavy political F1 influence on the series. And misses out the essence of its title "drive to survive".

But once in a while you need to challenge your cinema ambitions. Enrich yourself. Girl is a piece of art. Go and enjoy. It's cinema at its best.

Shot Caller (2017)

Unexpected

What a Hidden masterpiece this is. Probably the best movie of 2017 till now. And it's been a long time I've seen such a quality thriller/action movie. If we look at the acting, than let's be honest, the main role could go for Oscar. A 10 score is unique, as is this movie, Shot Caller. In contrary to others i do think it's a well chosen title. Enjoy this piece of art.

8,1 score. Best rating of all of them. I couldn't wait to see it. But man! How on earth this movie got an 8,1 IMDb rating? For example: Please explain me how the title and the poster that goes with this blockbuster reflect the content? And its way too slow, not logical, not coherent, not consistent. Its like a modern interpretation of the old testament: Moses leading his people to the promised land.

If this gets an 8,1 rating, IMDb as a reference will lose all its credibility.
