Captain Marvel (2019)

Brilliant

I just watched this yesterday and I'm very surprised with the negative reviews. I thought the movie supported a great cast and the story moves along swiftly. It is also just under 2 hours long, which is nothing compared to other marvel movies. I highly recommend this movie to any marvel fan, don't worry about the negative reviews, you will enjoy it!!

Jean-Claude Van Johnson (2016–2017)

van damme is back

First off I am a huge van damme fan, but this is not the only reason I love this show. The show is something entirely different to what I expected, almost a spoof of action movies, but works brilliantly. The show comes highly recommend to any Van Damme or action/martial arts fan, you will not be disappointed. I hope we get a season 2.

Death Wish (2018)

Better than expected.

I just watched this the other day and I was pleasantly surprised. Recent Bruce Willis movies have not been great ,but he gets a major comeback with this one. This is overall better than the original, which was also great. It has more action,violence,blood and overall more realistic feel. This is definitely worth a watch for any Bruce Willis or action fan.

I don't know why there are some bad reviews of this film, this works perfectly as a comedy and an action film. Ryan Reynold and Sam Jackson are brilliant together. The film is a definite must watch, you won't be disappointed.

El Camino Christmas (2017)

unpredictably good

This movie is different to any other Christmas movie before it, it boasts a great cast with a long time no see(Tim Allen).The movie may seem budget, but has enough laughs, story line to keep the viewer entertained. It is by no means a masterpiece, but for only 1hr 30 mins it is more than good enough. Overall a solid watch.

Justice League (2017)

Justice is found.

I had very high expectations for this movie, because it features the whole team(except Green Lantern),this movie has a very simple story line. The action sequences are generally good, but there is too much CGI.There are 2 post credit scenes which link to the next Justice League movie, as a whole it sets up all individual movies, for the rest of the members. Overall not fantastic, but worth a watch.7/10.

This pilot had everything any die hard van damme fan would want, action and also some humour. This show will be returning on Amazon prime, with 6 more episodes after this pilot. Hopefully we get to see more of the same. Van Damme could have a major hit with this show. Overall I would give the pilot a 9/10.

Take the 10 (2017)

The film is in no way a masterpiece, but for the short run time(1hr,20mins)it is worth as watch. It has some great moments and features Andy Samburg in a small supporting role.The film is worth a look,on a boring day.There is not much else I can say about it,overall a 6.5 or 7 out of 10.

The Punisher (2017–2019)

brilliant & brutal

In short the Punisher is nothing less then fans expect, brutal and brilliant. Jon Bernthal is the greatest Punisher ever, anyone who has seen Daredevil season 2 will know. All in all, it lives up to the hype. It has a great story, with a great supporting cast.Defo must watch. Easily a 9/10.

The Abyss (1989)

overrated

I only just saw this movie because it was directed by James Cameron. I was expecting maybe a little too much, the film was over long and boring. There is not that much too the movie, but it does have a fairly decent story line. Michael Biehn & Ed Harris are both solid in their roles. But the movie overall is a huge disappointment, if you are a James Cameron fan. I would not watch this ever again.

Better Than Expected.

I thought this film would be overrated according to the reviews. I went to watch it yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. Their are great young actors as the kids, the clown in scary and it has a great creepy atmosphere going on. This movie will likely stick with you for some time. Maybe not as amazing as other reviews have said, I don't know how it compares to the original(I have not seen it),but this film is definitely worth a watch. Overall 7.5/10.

Not Amazing

This review is for (Season 1).I have to start by saying this was not amazing at all. I don't understand such the great reviews. The acting by both Woody & Matthew is brilliant, but the show moves at a pretty slow pace, this could be just my problem. Overall, the story is solid,but maybe not enough action to hold it together.It is something I've seen once now, all the way through and would not watch again. Overall a big let down for me, as I am a huge fan of both actors. Overall 6.5/10.Maybe 7 at a push.

Savage Dog (2017)

Awesome

Don't listen to anybody else, this is a great action film. Scott at his best. Don't miss it.This is a violent, gory film not to be missed by any action fan. The story is fairly average, but this is not really the main concern for an action movie, Scott is brilliant in this. This is better than Eliminators, Close Range Etc. Any real action/martial arts fan will be not disappointed.

I am not going to bother going into the story,because whoever is a real fan will already know. The movie was a bitter disappointment,it almost seemed like a made for TV movie or something that should have just gone straight to Netflix.The story moves at a quick pace,but this is a problem. The movie is already fairly long 2 hrs 20 mins,but feels like it rushes through the story. The actors were average at best and no one really shined in any role.For this reason the best I can give is 5/10.

Straight Outta Compton (2015)

Awesome

Being a huge NWA fan since year 10 in high school,now (29)this movie was a dream come true,about my favourite hip hop act of all time. The cast did a great job especially the actors playing the 3 main leads(DR.DRE,ICE CUBE,EAZY-E). The movie paces itself brilliantly and everyone is given ample screen time.

The most overrated movie I have ever watched,complete garbage. Gene Hackman may be a great actor,but this movie sucked.Stay away,save your money.I have no idea,why this dreadful movie is so highly rated and considered a classic.The boredom of watching for almost 2 hours and seeing nothing interesting happen,is a reason to give this a miss.I will not bother going into the story too much,as there is not much to say.
