Pretty Little Liars: Under the Gun (2013)
Not Bad! I'm not sober! Highly recommend! 6/10!
I'm half a bottle of wine but raven wood looks like it's made of 50's b-movie stock footage and acting and writing was sub par. Also some weird camera angles. But some long shots were good. Not terrible! Highly recommend this episode! 4/10. Never mind Violin sequence was pretty good ezera entering the light was cool and editing was good in the sequence but that chick ain't playin violin. 5/10!
Pretty Little Liars: Gamma Zeta Die! (2013)
BEES?
A PUT BEES IN A CAR. WHY WOULD THAT WORK HOW WOULD A DO THAT. DID THE DIRECTER WAYCH WICKER MAN AND THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA. WHY WAS THERE A POV OF US AS BEES. BEEEEEEEEES? Also why were those greeters singing like they were in a mansoid cult.
That being said I think the series/season is getting better. Acting ok, carmwork is ok. The writing for domestic life is fairly good but they're getting tripped up on the mystery plot line. Costumes are a bit loud but I guess that's how it was. The editing is ok (no weird camera cuts besides the bee scene and I did miss the first scene with the hair cause I had to go to the little pirates room to take a wee-wee).
Good to see mike I guess. Causal writing was a bit weird but I guess in character but I think the writing for arias mom was very good and a interesting plot line. Also the sorority house being a sort of charecter was something I really liked and hope they incorporate through out the season. Chad Lowe looks (Bryan) like Ryan Gozling, Christolf Waltz and Rob liée fused together in a nice way. Background characters/actors are the funniest thing I've seen in a while.
The Last Temptation of Christ (1988)
Very Mildly biased opinion of a great film
So I have been reading the one star reviews on this film and I thought I would write a review on this and it's my opinion so ya know...
I think a lot of people hate this film as it depicts Jesus as a more human (weaker) and I understand how that would offend people because many christians depict Jesus as god you know but I think Martin Scorsese and the writer of this film are trying to show a Jesus as a man and less of a god.
For those who think it's inaccurate to scripture
It is and it gives you a disclaimer saying it is, so having the story written differently shouldn't make the rating lower unless the viewer was REALLY wanting a EXTREMELY accurate story of Jesus which most say is history and that's why it's written differently to show a different side of Jesus that's not heavily depicted in some religions.
For me I thought it was a 8 or 9 because of it being technically done well and having a engaging story. It's not a 10 because the story isn't that gripping. but good performances by Defoe and good story telling from Scorsese and the writer. Isn't perfect but very good.
I urge that people who will write reviews will rate what they actually feel it's rated. If you think it's sacralisions and poorly written and poorly directed and had absolutely no correlations to Jesus and would rather see a cat Defaecate for 2 1/2 hours then of course give it one star!
but if you want people not to watch it or it not to have a 7.5 I ask you not to rate this movie. Thank you:)
