Interstellar (2014)

An Emotional Intersteller Journey

I find myself watching this film atleast once a year since it came out, and every time I'm blown away by it. I used to be a HUGE movie junkie, watching atleast 2 movies every single day but as my life has gotten busier I've migrated over to YouTube the home of short attention spans. Nowadays I maybe watch 2 or 3 movies a month and rarely watch something I've seen before but this here is the kind of movie that deserves a rewatch, and another and another. If you've never seen this, which would be weird since it came out almost 9 years ago, then you are in for a treat, granted it will be a bit of a depressing treat but a treat none the less.

The Fallout (2021)

Excellent, But Don't Expect it to Be A Happy go Lucky Film Becuase of Maddie

This is a serious film with serious subject matter. I think some people are watching it expecting it to be a fun film Because Maddie is in it and once they get into it they are disappointed. But this film isn't for those people. I'm not going to add any spoilers, I'm just going to say the acting was excellent, the mood was exactly how it should have been during the entire film, and I really hope this wins some awards. Last, I'm not an emotional guy, I don't cry, but the ending had me in tears.

I Feel Everyone has Jumped on the Bandwagon

I feel like people go into this wanting to find something bad to talk about. They dissect the movie and make comparisons instead of letting the film stand on it's own. And overall it seems like people just want to hate M. Night Shyamalan for no reason, maybe because they have to look up how to spell his last name? This is probably the 10th time I've watched this film but the last time I watched it was years ago. I admit I am a huge fan of M. Night starting with "Signs" so you could interpret this review as bias but not anymore bias then all the people hating on him and his films. Overall I loved the film. Great music, great tension, great acting and great cinematography. Give the film a chance and I think you will like it too, but don't go into it thinking this is a seat of your pants horror movie, yes it has some scares but it's mostly about the characters.

Playboy? Really?

I actually purchased this at a thrift store hoping for a bit of erotic tales from the crypt fun, but I was very disappointed. My main gripe is I don't get why this has the Playboy stamp on it and I don't know why Playboy would want to associate their brand with this video. When I think Playboy I think full frontal nudity but nothing hardcore. What this video gives you is PG-13 level nudity. This isn't even softcore, this isn't even R-rated level nudity and to make matters worse the stories suck. The actual acting is decent and the production value is decent but overall the lack of nudity and story makes this a instant throwaway for me.

Euphoria (2019– )

Excellent Show

At first i wasn't really sure about it, but then it caught my attention and i ended up binge watching the entire season and am craving a second season. Overall though I found myself not really liking any of the characters, it seemed like they were all kind of stuck-up and only into themselves, weirdly enough for me the only likable character was the drug dealer. But even with not really liking the characters I loved the show. And would highly recommend it.

The Midnight Sky (2020)

Depressing

That about sums it up. Just overall a depressing film. I definitely do not recommend unless you want to be depressed.

Antebellum (2020)

LAME!!!

This isn't even a horror film. And the trailer is misleading. It wants you to think it some kind of time travel thing but Spoiler alert: It is not a time travel movie. She is kidnapped for her political and racial movement views and forced to work as a slave on a remote plantation in a civil war reenactment park. But it isn't fun and games, it's like a real civil war plantation, they frequently abuse and kill the slaves, so yeah it's not a reenactment.

Joker (I) (2019)

Boring, and that's it

If you feel like watching a guy laughing and crying for an hour and a half then this movie is for you. It's best to wait til it gets on Blu-ray or a streaming service and then you can skip to the last half-hour because that's the only part that actually matters. This movie was pure garbage. And all the 5 star reviews must be people as mentally unstable as this Joker was supposed to be.

Green Book (2018)

Just one word for this film...

Excellent. Okay more than one word. At first I passed this up, thinking nah, not really that interesting sounding. But I am sure glad I decided to give it another chance. I don't consider myself a movie critic by any means just an average joe who really liked this film. It's a funny, and sometimes heartbreaking film that is all around just good. I am really glad i saw this.

Suspiria (I) (2018)

One reviewer gave this film a 10 stating,"I personally found Suspiria compelling and challenging! It is in my humble opinion a masterpiece." Well in my humble opinion the only thing I found challenging about this film was not turning it off. I just drags, and makes no sense at all. Basically it's trying to be abstract and artsy but ends up being long, boring, and confusing. Bottom line, a film shouldn't be "challenging", we watch films to escape reality and have a little fun doing it, this film wasn't fun, it was just......

Lone Wolves (2016)

Terrible

Wow, was this bad. As the last reviewer said I made it through about 20 minutes of this film and it was awful. The SFX were horrible blurry images, and the way t was shot was just bad. I'm not sure what kind of camera was used or if that was just the style they were trying to achieve but as I said the video was blurry and sometimes hard to make out what was being shown, especially when showing CGI. I think it was shot like that because they knew the FX were horrible so they had to do something in order for the viewer to not see just how bad they were. So overall I would not recommend watching this it's a waste of time when you could be watching something A lot better.
