Andover (2017)

Good little unique film

I enjoyed this film and can imagine everyone who watches it would unless they only made it through 30 minutes and then tried to fast forward through. There were many comedic parts and at the same time a few life lessons.

I reall y enjoyed this movie. It had a great twist and kept my glued to the screen the whole 90 minutes.

I love reading some of the bad reviews as it becomes apparent they missed major parts of the movie or they just didn't get it. It is comical the way some of their minds think

I love how many people are saying this is a rip off of stranger things when in fact this was written before stranger things.

It is def. a nostalgic movie with a creepy yet fitting ending.

I'm sure there will be clown who think this is based on the classic I think we are alone son from the 60's. And most likely even more morons who think the re-make from the 80's. And these people will not enjoy this movie at all. I'm sure they will all rank it 1 star as well. But for me I enjoyed the show. The first 2 thirds were very intriguing but the last part felt rushed a bit. The typical hollywood apocalyptic movie delves into how it happened and what they have to do to survive and start over. If you go into this movie expecting that you will be disappointed. This is more focused on the mind of the main character and how he chose to deal with it and what he learns to make him a better person along the way.

It astounds me that after reading reviews that some people were not paying attention and completely missed the point to the whole story. Some people think it went to fantasy and mermaids and others thought a certain someone actually existed. the only people that rated this movie bad either have an attention span of a rock or the IQ of a stick.

Good RomCom Minus the Com

I enjoyed this movie thoroughly. Although classified as a ROMCOM there is basically no comedy in this. It is a depressing look at how so many relationships end up. The acting was superb, the directing was above average and the lessons learned and note worthy.

Over all I would say 7.5

Now down to business. This movie although slow in a few points, was over-all a great movie. I won't say a 10 because there deff. are better movies out there. This is very dark and well shot and very deserving of a 7.5.

After watching the first 5-10 minutes I asked myself... What the hell am I watching? Seemed like sub par acting and a weak plot. As the movie progresses it really captured my intrigue. By the end I was really impressed with this low budget film. I deff. suggest you watch

The Little Death (2014)

Didn't expect much but it was truly magical

I put this movie on for background noise, and by the 15 minute mark I was more committed than most movies I have seen. The twist and laughs the sad parts and the drama. It had a little of everything and when it finally wrapped up I had to go online and see what others thought right away. I see the majority felt the same. There are a few out there, as there always is that might not get it. But def. worth seeing.

Great movie .. slow start but solid finish.

I get a kick out of the right wing Trump fans that state this movie was only made to stop the fake news statements. Ummm this movie started filming way before your reality TV star became president.

I really enjoyed this movie. It wasn't until the last few minutes that I realized that she was actually part sea thing herself. She was found in a river and her gills were sewn up on her neck. She also had a way of making water move in mysterious ways as shown on the bus. It blew my mind when he healed her gills at the end. I will deff. watch this again

Once Upon a Time in Venice (2017)

A step above the rest

I watched this film last night and was pleasantly surprised.

A cast of A listers from the last 20 years, and a plot line that didn't result in me knowing what was going to happen well in advance. The jokes kept me laughing and the story kept me interested. Overall give it a 7.5 out of 10 .
