Carry Tiger To Mountain (2019)
Rajiv Shah is the director Hollywood needs to take notice...or not.
This movie really touches every subject. Aging, Taking care of the Elderly, Racism, Unresolved Family issues. It's hard to believe it's a Short Film because it felt like a Feature Length film...IN A GOOD WAY. That's due to having a good director and storyteller like Rajiv Shah. I'm really proud of his past work and this current project. Can't wait to see what he has next. Keep up the good work.
Santa's Dog (2012)
Excellent Film for the Holiday Season
I'm glad to know that Holiday films like this are still being made. I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Yes, it's out of my demographic but it's a great family film for this Holiday Season. Danny Arroyo and Anthony Robinson gave great performances and had great chemistry on the screen. It was also good to see Mackenzie Phillips on the screen again...especially playing such a funny role. And I haven't seen Kathy Garver since Family Affair!I hope to see more of her in the future. All the rest of actors were fantastic as well especially the elves. George Maguire played an excellent Santa. And what can we say about a dog named Hercules. Having a lovable dog in any film is always a nice touch. This film should have been available in the Theaters so the public could have a chance to embrace it. Well done everybody.
Dumpling (2011)
Fantastic
Bravo to the writers, Rajiv Shah and Wesley Du for bringing to the screen a Universal depiction about Father and Son relationships that needed to be seen! I hope it screens everywhere because even though the characters were Asian, I really identified with everything that happened in this film. The Bravery to even write about this is admirable enough. I guess that's why I'm not a writer. Good writing sometimes takes us to places that we are not comfortable dealing with. But then again, that's what makes movies so interesting to watch. Don't get me starting on the direction of Mr. Du I would be writing all night. BRAVE AND BOLD...I'll leave it at that!
