Scandal (2012–2018)

12 years later since the premier of Scandal and the opening scene with Columbus Short is the very best ever!!!!! The first season really was a great one. Looking at these episodes now, it's unbelievable how much the series changed during the 7 seasons.

Huck was always my favorite character when I first watched the show. Now, I think it's Harrison. I always wondered why Stephen Finch did not make it beyond the first season. He was a great character and seemed to be Olivia's best friend.

So excited that Scandal is on Tubi! That is such a great get for them. TubI is by far the best streaming for new content, classic TV, nostalgia TV and those shows you did not even know existed before scrolling the site but are great finds!

Tom Willis
19 August 2022
Tom Willis really did most of the damage. He dumped the tray of food in the living room. Tom attempted to flush the diaper down the toilet (which caused the toilet to overflow). He was the one who left the baby bottle boiling on the stove (which caused the fire.)

Amazing
7 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
It amazes me how many people call out "racist" episodes when the subject matter deals with Europeans, Italians, etc. However, when there are countless episodes of Booth stereotyping or mistreating black and Latinix people, there are no or very few negative reviews. I think I have only read one (1) negative review about how Hodgins disrespected Dr. Goodman. No one ever mentioned how he disrespected as Dr. Camille Saroyan by constantly taking her stuff, ignoring her directives, etc.

It appears as if there was Nepotism at work when selecting Emily Deschanel. (FYI, her dad is a cinematographer and director Caleb Deschanel. Her mom is an actress.) On the show, they keep stating that Emily's character has the perfect structure and is so beautiful.

Michaela Conlin who portrayed Angela Montenegro, Tamara Taylor who portrayed Dr. Camille Saroyan, Katheryn Winnick who portrayed Hannah Burley and many others were more attractive than Emily Deschanel.

I completely agree with the others who have commented that Emily Deschanel's character Bones speech pattern sounds robotic at time.

Angela and Hodgins had a pretty nice love story. The fact that Dr. Goodman and Dr. Camille Saroyan had impressive resumes. Those were about the only redeeming qualities of the show.

taylorkingston2 posted some things wrong
2 August 2022
Taylorkingston2 stated some things incorrectly.

Santa was not black mailed. It was more of a hostage or kidnapping situation.

Santa was not blown up on purpose.

Discovering the true kidnappers was quite interesting.

Living Dolls vs Life's a Ditch
9 July 2022
In this episode Living Dolls, Charlie (Leah Remini's character) stated she was discovered when she was delivering food. Sam came to the modeling house to conduct research for a report. That was a nice explanation.

In the episode Life's a Ditch, it's almost odd for Charlie to show up. If they were going to have the Life's a Ditch episode, it should have appeared before the Living Dolls episode.

Another good show that did not last
29 June 2022
Flash Forward, The Catch, Notorious, The Brave, Underground and Alphas.

Each of these shows had strong followings but did not make it. Does anyone read the reviews on IMDb? Does the social media following make a difference? People like these shows and the reviews are mainly positive.

It makes one wonder how is it decided if shows are renewed.

29 May 2022
This is still one my favorite episodes. Every time I watch this episode I cry.

This episode along with the episode of the first dollar demonstrates the compassion of George Jefferson.

Watching reruns of The Jeffersons (and Bewitched) were what motivated to believe in myself and go into marketing. They will always be my favorite shows.

Ms. Naugatuck
8 May 2022
I was not sure how I would like the character of Ms. Naugatuck as the maid.

I liked Esther Rolle as Florida on Maude.

I only knew Hermione Baddeley from Bewitched.

However, Hermione Baddeley really brought a completely different aspect to the maid's role on Maude. She was hilarious! I loved her!!!

When Esther Rolle moved to Good Times, she embodied the new changes and character development of Florida Evans in Chicago. She was phenomenal and cemented her placed as one of the best TV moms in history!!!

When the cat died
8 May 2022
The joke Walter told about how to break the news when an animal or loved one dies makes this episode worth watching.

I actually cried laughing.

I don't know if it would work in reality but it is a good joke.

Malcolm & Eddie (1996–2000)

Seasons 3 and 4 were the best
10 April 2022
Eddie is great at impressions.

However, seasons 1 and 2 were crude. The way they constantly picked on Tim because of his weight as well as how Eddie constantly made comments as if Nicolette was ugly made seasons 1 and 2 disgusting and disturbing.

When they came back for seasons 3 and 4, it was a completely different show. I could get invested in the scripts, the writing was funny and they had a lot of great guest stars.

This episode set it apart from original series The Blacklist. It showed what the series could have actually been. Throughout the entire episode you are trying to figure out who are the bad guys on the airplane as well as within Halcyon.

Similar to The Blacklist yet different
13 March 2022
For those saying, it's not like The Blacklist there are similarities.

Elizabeth Keen didn't know her mom came into Reddington's live for a larger, secretive purpose. Liz is a FBI agent but who has tendencies closely related to secret operative. Red is a bad guy for a reason.

Tom also did not know his parents. His mom came into Tom's life for a larger, secretive purpose. Tom was trained as a secret operative.

It's not the same without Slow Jam
28 February 2022
It's not the same without the song Slow Jam by Monica and Usher. That's my favorite part when Jordan and Tamera dance to that song. I wonder why some shows have to change the music when the shows go in syndication.

I noticed they did that with an episode of Girlfriends also.

Why would Jules check the kitchen instead of taking Eagle Two
27 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Why would Jules check the kitchen instead of taking Eagle Two? Ed took Eagle One with him and then pulled out his gun to secure a room. Jules left her responsibility and checked the kitchen. Either she should have taken Eagle Two with her or let a different SRU person check the kitchen. Sometimes SRU does some irresponsible things.

So no one has a review
12 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The police come with guns pointed at a brown skinned man and put him in cuff.

A white guy shoots a brown man and holds people hostage ... they write a storyline that he has a mental illness. Perpetuating the fear that people with mental illness is the reason why white people are killing people.

Then a white paramedic literally jumps in front of the bullet to save the brown skinned female.

Notice that they are going to clear the brown skinned man but they never said that they will make a public apology.

SMH.

Always hated this episode
10 February 2022
I have always hated this episode. They made Anton out to be a monster. At the same time Eddie would say that Anton was a great kid and had heart, then say that he couldn't trust him and that Anton lied to him.

Everyone had their mind made up about Anton but ignored the white villains in the prison. Eddie clearly never had a conversation with Anton after the incident but just stereotyped him. If he ever cared about Anton, he should have not done that. If Eddie was trying to save the world as he stated, then Anton should have been part of that world and at least deserved the decency of Ed talking to him after the incident.

Welcome back George, welcome back George
5 February 2022
I remember watching this episode in syndication when I was younger. It has always been one of my most memorable and favorites.

The nightmare of going back where you came from is a great motivator to keep striving for the best. It reminds me of Toni's from Girlfriends "Never Going Back to Fresno Fund"

The Jeffersons is still my favorite show. It motivated me to believe in myself and know that I could accomplish anything despite race, circumstances, education level, political environment or background.

1975 episode still relevant in 2022. I don't know if it is amazing that a 1975 episode is still relevant in 2022 or is it sad that the USA has not changed that much 1975?

People voting for a politician because of his or her color.

People having an issue with interracial marriages.

People using money to buy their way into political offices.

People spending ludicrous amounts of money for watches (chronometers)

The Blacklist needs to do better!
29 January 2022
This was the absolute worst episode. Dembe was tortured beyond human comprehension and his family was held captive, yet he came back from the pits of hell to shoot up an airplane hanger to rescue Red!

Now, Red thinks Dembe betrayed him. Red put Dembe out of his car in the night like Dembe was trash. For me, the relationship is over.

Cooper is a respected, decorated FBI director. Why does the writer have Cooper making rookie mistakes? Why hasn't Cooper asked Red to look into who is blackmailing him?

The Blacklist needs to do better!

Tamara was great but the law enforcement disappointing
18 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
For people who still don't see the difference, look at the episode.

How often are white males instructed to lay on the pavement when the police approach? The guys were only paying basketball.

The one guy did run but did David need to pull his gun?

The LAPD guy instantly wanted to have a sniper shoot John.

In real life, Dylan Roof killed 9 people in a church, left the state and when the police finally caught up with him bought him food from Burger King.

Although this episode made me angry, I think Numb3rs does a great job at show the inequities and mentioning the racism in the system.

I would call this a continuation not a reboot and I love it!
7 January 2022
Much like the game of football ... players change, teams move and life continues. This was the best show to bring back!

I am so glad they changed the format, added new cast members and switched up the storyline. I love it!!! This version is the best!!!

The original version on UPN was good. The version on was BET was okay. This version on Paramount plus rocks!!!

Episode 7 and 10 were my favorite of season 1. Hopefully, they will get renewed for season 2 and they writing will continue to be as stellar for many seasons to come.

Congratulations Wendy Raquel Robinson, Hosea Chanchez and Mara Brock Ali. Bravo to the cast and crew!

Flaws in the system
2 January 2022
Numb3rs did an excellent job showing where their were flaws in the system. This was one of the first and best episodes where they delved into deficients of the criminal process.

For the life of me, I don't understand how Bones lasted 11 seasons but Numbe3rs only lasted 6. Bones also suffered from decreased ratings. I liked Numb3rs much better because Agent Eppes didn't think people of color were automatically guilty. Plus, he had a team and trusted them. Where as Bones made it seem like Booth was a one man army who could take on the world.

I never understood why Daphne moved the block. Niles stated he was going to get some books to hold the blanket so why did Daphne move the block to hold the blanket? She could have sat on it until Niles returned or put the picnic basket on it.
