Have you ever wonder why it is that sometimes Metascore is so wrongly wrong? Well, who knows, but Polar is good example of it.
This movie is not only highly entertaining but very well done.
I would described as a Neo-Tarantinoish-Art.
Photography was good. Performance were Top. High class Edition and the Direction was just well done. I mean everything you want on a film. It is not a masterpiece and if you don't like Tarantino, sure this film is not for you. But to give this Film less than 7 Stars is something inexplicable.
Go watch it ... You will DEFINITELY enjoy it.

What i really really liked about this film was the way it was presented. It will surround your mind of dark corners and then set it free in fantasy backyard.
The taste of fear will not let you down, but it will worsen the finding of the paths in this Labyrinth of emotions.
You will not know what to expect and that's the beauty of this super powerFUL film ;)

I must start saying this film is absolutely not for everyone. You first will need a big background of watched movies before enjoying this master piece. So if you haven seen like around 400 Films in your life, you might skip this one. Second you must know and appreciate arts to enjoy it.
If you posses these two qualities, then go get your popcorn cause this beauty will let you with wide open eyes for several minutes.
It is not a horror film, not spooky or something like that. Its something else. Very strange and perfectly acted. The photography is gorgeously disturbing and the story is crazy and and quite tangled, but it is easy to understand.
If you are in the mood of improving your artistic IQ and willing to finally watch something else out of the Hollywood Pack, DONT MISS THIS ONE.
I gave it 9 Stars, just cause i reserve the 10Stars score for the "One in a Million" films. This one is 1 in 100,000 !

Spanish people can really make great films!
This sick twisting drama is so well done that you would not blink for a second.
The performance of all actors are extremely well done and the story left a bitter/sweet taste on your mouth.
The editing, the Music, the script and of course the Direction ... i mean ... its hard to find a film that is so complete.
If you are looking for something else to watch but you don't know what... this is your movie... but be aware... it is nothing but crude.

I dont even know where to start. This movie is awful. No acting, an story that you probably seen millions of time. No great direction. The only thing that was well done was the screenplay.
Full of melo-drama a la Hollywood. No great music ... I mean WHAT WAS GOOD IN THIS MOVIE?
How in the world is Metascore giving 8 Points for it ??!?!?! Jesus Christ!
This is not the first time i saw a very suspicious Metascore rating... What is going on?
If you havent seen like more than 10 movies in your life im sure you will enjoy this one... but you have seen more... please dont waste your time like i did.

Great story, great editing and tremendous Acting!
Viggo at his best. A must watch! AND... a very *unique* ending.
Matt is a brilliant Director and i gonna keep an eye on his next projects, cause this one was in my opinion a master piece!

The tittle said it all!
Im a huge fan of Metallica and I'm 40 years old, so i've been listening them since the very beginning. No doubt we are talking about the greatest metal band ever and a main fountain of inspiration for at least 10,000 other successful rock bands.
But the Metallica of today is not Metallica anymore, they are using documentaries that are obviously prepared to make us think all the bullshit they were saying in front of the cameras was for real... and it was everything scripted. This so called "Documentary" was just an effort to promote themselves and a horrible album.
It is just sad what Metallica has become... this guys talked more about cliff than Jason... AND FOR GOD SAKES METALLICA.... you got at the top of your Everest WITH JASON not with cliff (which was an impressive talented bass player)
You can go outside and ask someone what is Metallica and they will tell you: "james, Kirk, Lars and JASON... not cliff ... so please let the poor guy go!
Another thing that makes me sick in my stomach is to see how Lars was selling his art collection for millions of dollars in JUST ONE night... the same guy who was responsible of killing Napster.
A millionaire complaining about other people getting thing for free.... what's the different between you Lars and some other Wallstreet magnate?

A must see ! -BUT beware!! it will bite you right in the heart. So if you are emotional, better skip it.
This doc. will leave you with no air in your lungs and with an internal rage that it is hard to comprehend. It is incredible to believe how savage humans can be as well as courageous and perseverance.
Now i understand why most of the people want to get rich at cost of anything, cause if you are poor and powerless you worth less than a Fly.
Now technically speaking: the Documentary is beautifully well done and majestically right edited. Makes you feel the director is in fact a private detective. 2 Thumbs up.
Well, anyways...I will finish my preview with this:

I will keep this comment very short. You Watch this documentary and you don't even have to get to its end, to notice your thoughts about Global Warming and Pollution flipped 180 degrees.
Is just amazing to see what this young man archived with his camera. I've been watching documentaries since the early 90's and i hardly remember something that shocked me so hard like this one. And we thought we knew it all. The Volkswagen Scandal is a baby compared to this one. If you want to see something that will take you out of box, then you definitely shouldn't miss this one.

When a movie is well done, it doesn't means the movie is good.. because a Movie is more than this. .. About this one: the making-process was really good, the Photography was amazing, the Director shows that he knows how to do it, almost all the technical stuff were really good. ... But the story of this movie, let me tell you.. it is just to make you cry... .. I would say that this film is a Bad Acted Copy of THE OTHERS ... nothing original and some people said that this is a Horrifying movie??? IT IS NOT ... it has a lot of suspense but not a gram of HORROR. The Actors? .. how to say this... just nothing special.... and sometimes overacting in a really creepy Hollywood way. So, I don't want talk too much about this... Because Im deeply hurt... Usually the European Films are very original and good in their way... that's why we all love them... But this one is just gonna let you down. It is sad to see how such a good Director make this kind of films.

What a good and a different movie!!! ..
First I want to said that Im completely a Non-Justin-Timberlake Fan and I truly hate all this Pop movement. So when my wife rent this movie, I was already with a "let's see what is this Trash about" kinda look on my face. I was ready to tear it apart, and at the beginning the way of acting of Justin made me just want to do it; (it almost made me throw up)... and I deeply think that was the best atmosphere that a Director can give to this kind of films... WHY ??? Simple... the first 10mins kill all your hopes of watching something good and prepares you to see another garbage Film... but then it just like an Avalanche !!! ... Man!!! it's a "Truelove" what I feel for this Film ... it becomes so intense that you don't even close your eyes for a second, you forget about your Popcorn completely; and the suspense it just as subtle as extreme! and its Heart-Braking-Drama Parts.. well I muss say it was something i was not ready for.
Even the roll that Justin played. When the movie started he just looked like another wanna-be Actor and at the end his performance increase on a miracle way should I say...
All this unexpectedness it's what makes this Piece so special. I mean let's be real, who will expect that in a Film with Bruce Willis and Justin together, about drugs, Teenagers and L.A. could be ever Good ??? And this is the master part of this genius Director, who invites you to watch another bad Film and then disappoint you with a great story that let's you wondering if that happened in the real life.
Watch it... and you will understand me.

A Perfect movie... with a great point of view. (A must see).
There is no much to say about this film... just beautiful. If you are a fan of the High Intelligence of the our great USA, well you will just love it. Now I can clearly understand how you can catch the bad guys. Millions and Millions of dollars are invested to train this High qualified soldiers and it's intelligence's sector... And in this movie you can see how great the result of this investment is. There's not doubt about why we all should keep on supporting the most intelligent people in the world... the High Raze of the North.
PS: When you see the film, we will understand what I'm saying and then you will agree with me. !
