Infinite (2021)
6/10
Poor, but, entertaining
26 October 2021
"Infinite", is a mix of "Wanted", with James McAvoy, that is action and special effects, and "Old Guard", with Charlize Theron, but without the depth of plot and characters.

It is a very poor movie, but, that entertains, you have to disconnect the logic chip to enjoy it, an example, the protagonists were talking in their secret base and in the next frame they were assaulting the enemy secret base, but, they had to read the script to know where it was, because nobody in the movie had previously found out.

In short, it is not innovative, since it is an exact mix of the two films already mentioned, with a weak and predictable script, but it entertains and does not bore, since the action is constant.

Professor T (2021– )

Interesting, but, it doesn't stand out.
16 June 2021
I love Ben Miller as an actor, in the series "death in paradise", he is splendid, but, compared to the Belgian version, in which a Koen De Bouw absolutely shines, you really think he has that disorder, the second you see him in scene, you know that something is not going well, he knows perfectly how to move between reality and madness, he is also supported by enormous secondary actors such as the actress Goele Derick who plays his secretary, the actor Carry Goossens his college colleague or the actor Herwig Ilegems who acts as a police officer.

I can only say that after seeing the sublime Belgian version, the British version is way behind.

Little credible characters.
24 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
It is a science fiction movie, in which it is supposed to be the epitome of drama, but it falls short. That you are going to die is tragic, that your whole family is going to die is very tragic, but, that all life on the planet is also going to be extinguished? The characters do not demonstrate that magnitude of the drama, indeed, the characters of the spacecraft are the worst performers in this regard, too calm upon hearing the news of the extinction of life on earth, indeed, the two astronauts who returned to the planet to found a colony, without hope for the future, did not demonstrate in any moment they would leave a daughter or sons alone in a colony in space when they pass away.

Artemis Fowl (2020)

A very bad disney movie
13 June 2020
A story without a plot, in which the protagonist is a repellent child in which he interacts with magical elves, dwarves and fairies, who do not use magic but use high technology. I do not know what the budget or the shooting time has been, but, there are mediocre series on a low budget, with a better script and better special effects. No adolescent will feel identified with Artemis Flows, since it does not seem a teenager, but a pedantic robot.

Future Man (2017–2020)

Three crazy, schizophrenic, comic and sad seasons with three wonderful characters.
6 May 2020
With a brilliant first season and a slightly weak second and a fairly good third, concludes this totally crazy, fun, sad series that goes through all extremes with a script that seems to have been written by totally drugged people, but it hides a script smart and somehow brilliant. It is worth noting the three exceptional leading actors who have to endure really complex characters that constantly evolve, moving from the comic, to the frantic, to pure drama. It has been really wonderful to enjoy the journey of Futturman, Tiger and Wolf.

Fun, crazy, unpredictable,...
6 February 2019
I do not know how to describe this series, It's like the movie "Back to the future" but much more fun, irreverent, crazy and unpredictable, with a script and a plot much deeper than it seems. The main actors do a great job.

Professor T. (2015–2018)

An interesting deconstruction of the human mind.
9 January 2019
This series could be compared to Monk or House, but, it does not remain in the simple genius with null social skills that solves police cases. The Professor T. is also a deconstruction of the human mind, traumas, emotions and their consequences in people's lives and is analyzed as the psyche and emotions have led to commit ordinary crimes. Although the cases are autoconclusive, the central characters are evolving and growing and all seasons have a common link that is the mysterious and traumatic suicide of the Professor's father. Apart is the music that accompanies the series, quite unusual, but, that fits like a glove.

A series that hooks from chapter one.
19 June 2018
It is a great series set in Australia in the decade of the 20s, with characters with charisma, with interesting cases, and with very good secondary characters. I give a 10 in location, atmosphere and clothing. Although the episodes are conclusive, the characters evolve as the chapters pass. It is a series in which murder cases are resolved, but also portrays the harsh reality of the time, racism, homosexuality, religion, machismo, politics, the hard life of the lower classes and the carefree life of the high social class. A series of detectives, with a wonderful Essie Davis in the role of Miss Fisher that exudes optimism, desire to live, sympathy, and contrasts with terrible cases that investigates trafficking of girls, corruption, politicians, religious, etc.

Frankie Drake Mysteries (2017–2021)

Flat characters, boring cases.
19 June 2018
After having watched the television series Fisher's Murder Mysteries, I wanted to see another series of similar themes, but I found a rather boring series, with characters without charisma, and some cases that did not interest me. Even the character, the policeman Mary Shaw, who is the same as in the series Houdini and Doyle, who represented a police, intelligent, determined and with great emotional depth, in Frankie Drake Mysteries, is a flat and ridiculous character. It's a shame, I'm still staying with Fisher's Murder Mysteries, it's a thousand times better.

The Expanse (2015–2022)
10/10
An extraordinary series of science fiction. A complex, deep and entertaining Space Opera.
13 May 2018
The series "The Expanse" is a complex, deep and entertaining Space Opera, with well-defined characters and humans. The fight deals with three factions, those that inhabit the Earth, those that inhabit Mars and those that live in the asteroid belt. A fourth faction breaks the delicate balance and triggers, perhaps, the extinction of the human race. It is one of the few series that is at the height of "Battlestar: Galactica", a series that improved season after season. What the hell were they thinking when they decided to cancel it? I hope, that some Channel is smart enough to produce a 4 season.
