Buster's Mal Heart (2016)

The kind of movie that makes you think after it ends

I really liked this film because it highlights questions that I often think about.

How to exit the system ? Does it make sense to completely leave the system or should we rather make peace with it and live alongside it ? Are people who seem free, outside of our society codes, really free ? and at what price ?

The movie goes further, wich I very much liked. For me it's about the idea that we can travel back in time, but only from the moment when we entered in a "glass hole". It is kind of how I explain the end to myself.

The Umbrella Academy (2019–2024)

It could be better than this

This series is a good source of entertainment, the music is often well chosen and it includes very good actors. Where I take less pleasure to watch it is when I get bored due to a lack of originality in replicas, scenes, gestures. We have moments where we find scenes seen and reviewed in the world of cinema that were sensational at the time, but by hearing them, it became without interest.

Cable Girls (2017–2020)

Could have been a good Tv Show

After the music that ruins the atmotphiere, we have the non original romance along with Alba that makes a ton of toxic sacrifices. I really love the actresses and their characters, it could have been a greate show.

Feed (2017)

Strong feelings

Troian knows exactly how to show us what is like.. her acting is perfect, from the perfect girl she is acting, at the problematic girl.

Her scene in front of the therapist, when she was fighting her "brother" and at the same time she was saying the truth was so moving !

It also shows us how cold some parents can be. I find that lousing weight is a very popular subject in 2017, and a lot of girl get eating disorder, some scenes in " Feed " can relate the situation they are getting in.

Baywatch (2017)

Just a film that accomplished its mission

I didn't see the first movie, so there are no comparison between, I also think it's better that way, each movie with its reviews.

It's a cool movie to watch with friends, it's fun and adventurous, the movie in self I don't think that want to give more. Simple, funny, beautiful to watch, for me it was a relaxing moment.

At the writing level, we could have had better,the jokes have a some dust on the corners. It also could be more realistic at some moments, it made me think I'm in a fairy tale with Zac Efron and Dwayne J. where nobody could possible die no meter what happens.

To the Bone (I) (2017)

This movie gave me a clear image of what anorexia is. Now, if I will want to help or I will met a person suffering from anorexia, I will defiantly don't tell her to eat, or tell her about how good food is. It leads to nothing.

The text is well written, from the beginning, there were some good quotes.

Everybody performance was grate, especially Lily Collins's one. It's a good movie, and I don't regret watching this, judge is simple, understand is more complicated.

Anyway, I expected a better ending... :)

Okja (2017)

I wanted more...

When I saw the trailer of this movie, I thought it will be something that will change my vision about meat, that will blow my mind, sadly it wasn't what I expected.

It did not make me cry, and I'm a person who usually gets sad or cry at the emotional film scenes. After an hour from the beginning of watching the movie, I guessed what was about to happen, because is cliché.

All I loved about the movie is the beautiful Okja, and the passion to protect her.

There should has been more explicative scenes about the business, about the companies. I think it's not emotional enough, and I don't think after seeing this movie a lot of people will get vegan.

After all this is supposed to be a movie who motivates you to be vegan ? Because I don't think so, the girl eaten a fish, and in front of her home, there was some chickens and shells that she will probably eat.

Oh the end... she was at home, all alright, Okja and the little one were safe, but what about the rest of transformed pigs ? I expected a scene were people are protesting against the company, were the FLA is fighting.

The Circle (I) (2017)

It change ideas

This movie is full of humor,ironies and I'm sad for the people who didn't get it.

Mae, since the first moment when she got in that tunnel, and understood how everything is running, she had a plan. (that's just what I think). She was always against the two directors of The Circle, and at the moment when she lost her friend, she was very sad of course because it wasn't supposed to happen, but she didn't came back at the Circle because she thought that is nobody's fault but because she wanted to finish what she started.

A lot of people criticized Mae for showing the bad example, but it was the point, she was showing to us, what we are almost doing, and what our future may look like. How we get more and more "transparent" every day, forgetting about our privacy, about our personal lives, because we want to get famous, we want to be recognized in the street etc.. and at the end, the people who don't enter in this game, are the people who actually created the game.

For me this movie shows a lot of real and futuristic aspects, and I love it for this. It made me think, inform my self more, watch and analyze what's happening around me.

By the way, the end of the movie was amazing, the moment when the lights were turned off by the two, and then were "lit" by the whole room.

Penny Pincher! (2016)

Comedy in life issues

I love it ! It has something special, the subject is well shown. It's not just comedy, this movie tries to explain the feelings and the situation in witch is put an tightfisted, his social problems.

Maybe, next time we will see one, we would be more sympathetic with him, because it's hard to live like this, but it's kind of in this blood, It is a trait of character.

I liked the fact that the movie shows the beginning of this avidity, his parents, education is one more time so important.

And maybe every tightfisted is not so complicated like this one, maybe we can help him, we can be that neighbor who helps him, may if he doesn't do always the same ;) In fact, this movie can affect a lot of tightfisted people.
