I love Tarantino!

There nothing much more to say than its a Tarantino movie. The story of a Hollywood actor and its stunt double. You have all the Tarantino ingredients: Great build up, amazing actors and a very unorthodox story. I can only recommend this movie.

What a disappointment!!!
7 June 2018
So in this movie, dinosaurs are not that scary, they are actually the persecuted endangered specie.... And so the high heel running girl from the previous movie is looking for a way to save the T-rex, the velociraptor and others (how nice!). As for the rest of the movie, you just get really annoyed by the characters and the story. And the soundtrack is no good here( they just mainly remixed the soundtrack from the original Jurassic Park.

In conclusion, I highly do not recommend this movie

Pleasant surprise!
5 January 2018
I have to say, I expected, after the last Star Wars, that this movie would ruin another of my childhood memories. Wasn't the case at all, it didn't try to tell the same story or be as intense as the original movie. It's more of a fun action movie with good jocks and good actors. It even has a small tribute to Robin Williams. So i'd say it's not as good as the original, but still more than watchable

Disney Version of Star Wars
25 December 2017
Quite frankly i didn't find it entertaining. The humor felt forced and the story is more and more directed towards kids. Far far away is the star wars galaxy where Vador cuts his sons hands off before telling him that he is his father or when Leila is taken as a sexual slave. Nothing shockig in this movie. I even challenge anyone who has seen the movie to give me an example of a memorable scene. And the swords fight are unimpressive which is a big let down ( at least the Phantom Menace had that) So to sum up : This new Star Wars is first and foremost for kids between the age of 9 and 14 who haven't seen the first 6 movies.

What's not to like?
23 December 2017
I'll put it simply for the readers out there : great acting, great story, great special effects. It's simply will smith back at his best ( been a long time) in a movie that reminds me a bit of District 9. it was a great hour and a half and had a way better story than most of the blockbuster this year. I couldn't believe it when i saw it had the same metascore as Transformers: The Last Knight or that Justice League had a better score than this original story. Its like Hollywood is ganging up on Netflix to make it fail. Seriously take a Netflix subscription just to promote original stories and enjoy this movie .

Just read the manga!
31 October 2017
Another attempt at compacting 30 volumes in a 2 hour movie. We often say that a book is always better than it's movie adaptation. Well, it's also the case here. Having read the manga, I strongly suggest that you read it first, avoiding the spoilers in the movie, and enjoying the great work of Hiroaki Samura.

Wheelman (2017)

good movie overall
22 October 2017
OK it's not the greatest thriller of all time but it still kept me on edge from time to time. It's the story of a man out of jail who accepts to be the driver in a bank robbery to pay back a part of what he owed a local gang. the robbery goes sideways and he finds himself in a situation where he doesn't know who to trust. That's the most i can tell you without giving any spoilers. But you can imagine how this can lead to several interesting situations. The only thing that bothered me is that the story doesn't go deep enough in the characters background and sometimes you don't feel how dangerous a character can be to the Wheelman. So i'd say that if you're looking for a good thriller to spend time without having to blow your mind, this Netflix movie will do the trick.

What a waste of great source material!
25 August 2017
This is what happens when people making a movie are not true fans of the original work. If you haven't seen the original story, then start by reading the 13 volumes of the manga. You won't regret it, i can guaranty that. You will realize how badly : - The main character, Raito, is depicted here as a normal teenager with just higher grades than the rest. We don't see any of the terrifying brilliance of the character in the manga. - They tried to condensate 5 volumes of the story in this movie and they did it in a very clumsy rushed manner - They could have reused the soundtrack of the anime, the one in this movie is unnoticeable.

Again I strongly suggest to skip the movie and just read the manga, one of the best in the history of manga.

Wonder Woman (2017)

Whats up with the special effects???
16 June 2017
OK so i was shocked at how inconsistent the special effects were in the movie. One great example is when, at the beginning of the movie, the young wonder woman (as a kid) jumps a few stories down and you could actually feel that there is a green screen behind, it was like we were back in the 90s. Apart from that the story isn't that great, i mean nothing special will surprise you really in the movie and a lot of parts reminded me of the Captain America first movie with all the fighting the German stuff and the hero having a diverse(nationality wise) special hit squad. Lastly, i would say that if you just want to watch a superhero action movie to pass the time, this will due. Otherwise, stick to the marvel universe

First disappointment from Netflix
19 March 2017
Compared to the others superhero Netflix production, this one doesn't even come close in term of script or even the acting. First of all, the story is often hard to believe ( even for a fantasy world) and/or is too simple ( super good guy vs super bad people). An example would be the mentality of the main character who never understands why people don't fully trust all the things he says after he appears out of nowhere 12 years later, or how one of the characters walks in the street in broad daylight with a samurai sword and nobody cares(yolo). Also, compared to other many shows, the martial art is bad. When they are fighting, they move extremely slow (like compare it to daredevil fro example) and sometimes the timing makes it too obvious that it is acting. In conclusion, with a very simple and uninteresting script, so-so fighting scenes and a disappointing rendition of the characters complexity, i would not recommend this show.
