This movie is an insult to humans. We're better than this. The directors should have asked for help. I think an actual shark could've made a better moive. What were they thinking?? They could have just recorded a wall, and it would have been a better movie. Watch ONLY to make fun of it.

Annabelle (I) (2014)

What's with the low ratings?

Just re-watched Anabelle and it's just as scary the 10th time as it is the first time. Anyone who says "nothing happens" or "It's like Chucky" didn't watch the movie at all and have zero clue what they are talking about. There is non stop tension, horror, and suspense and Anabelle is not even remotely like Chucky (it's not even supposed to be). Not perfect, but pretty close to it.

Worse than I remember

I remember watching this movie back when it first came out and I didn't think it was that bad. I just finished watching the cartoon series on Netflix and I figured I would re-watch this to wrap it all up. Now I wish I hadn't watched it. It's NOTHING like the show. I wonder if the people who worked on this movie even saw the show. Stay away from this movie. It's so bad that it actually hurts to watch it.

Ready Player One (2018)

Too unreal to be entertaining

The thing about movies (even science fiction) is that they need to have some level of believability to them to keep them relatable. This is what makes horror movies scary, super hero movies exciting and heartwarming, action movies entertaining, etc. Ready Player One doesn't have that level of realism. I could never see the events that happen in the movie play out in reality and I don't see anyone ever making some of the choices that the characters make. It's a Sci fi movie that lost it's Sci. You can write a movie about anything but that doesn't mean you should. I could write a movie about a ghost that becomes friends with a sentient sofa and they teach baseball to a family of dolphins in space, but it would suck. That is Ready Player One.

Dracula (2020)

Great Start / Utterly Upsetting Finish

My wife and I watched this the past few days. We enjoyed Episode 1 and even Episode 2 (at least for my part. I thought it was fun). Episode 3 had us baffled. It's not even like it's part of the same series.

Not sure if Netflix will be making a season 2 of this series but if they do, it would be great if they began it by Dracula waking up after the events of Episode 2 and writing off Episode 3 as just a bad dream.

Power Rangers (2017)

Good Enough

It wasn't a horrible movie but it could have been so much better. It has elements of the original 90's show but is very clearly updated to today's society. Simply put, this is an origin story movie so it takes a long time to actually get exciting and once it finally does, it ends 15 minutes later. Can't wait to see a sequel which absolutely should be much more exciting.
