Fall (2022)
Emotional exprerience
So, firstly, many seem to be disappointed of the things in the movie. How they are so stupid that they only have so little equipement or that are so stupid that keep climbing the rusty and unstable ladder or more details with spoilers. Then why don't you go watch videos of climbers on YouTube and shut up and stop complaining about something you don't like subjectively. It's not all about being real in movies. Movies are meant to give you story, give thrills and emotions. Some thought for your thoughts and give you some pararells with struggle in real life.
It's about connecting with the travel and road, getting pumped, on the edge or sad and feeling anxiety and melancholy. Feel the movie, not try to judge it for being not realistic and not how it is done in real life. And not expect it to be a manual, if you think you need to learn something only from a movie and not by checking if it's acurate and realistic, you don't like movies, you don't watch movies, therefore you just want to judge movies, because you don't like them.
Lastly, great piece of a film. Had high tension and long, mixed with other emotions and thought. Visually pretty too. Between 8 and 9 for me.
Also for all you great critics, vultures are just symbolic as you fear them and think of them as death awaiting ir incoming. And all you with ones and twos... Stick to other form of visual products far from the artistic area if you so find it inaccurate and dumb.
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023)
What a great movie! Finally got that feeling and emotion in it, I was waiting for.
Welcome, to the 10th annual... review of a ballad of songbirds and snakes
A great adaptation. That I love and will hold deer from now forward.
I first found the book accidentally, bot knowing there was another chapter to the hunger games out and even that had come out recently. Took it without a thought and loved it.
It has its cons, like not having delved deeper into the Snow's woridview and his never stopping thoughts, maybe like seconds to every sequence would've been nice. And a bit more into Lucy Gray's character, interacting little bit more with the world.
And still I think the film is amazing, because I still loved it even with these, though small, noticable details, even when comparing to the book's depiction. Amazing take from the book. Francis Lawrence did as always, with few exceptions in that always. The cast too, great performance with a few meticulous edges. For some characters you don't need something more to them, because there is something that is central in the plot and it must stay there not get distracted. They work even that way.
The atmosphere was like I imagined when reading, if not then next to that what imagined. Some details and looks and deets were left behind, but first. That's how it is, when they have to make it shorter, which for me longer would've been even better, but that's me and second. Not leave the more important actions out. The important is to make the whole world as it was created and to make it work in people's eyes. I'd say it works, there is thrill, there is suspense, but you have to listen and watch with your whole body and instincts, because every way of talking of a character and some of their moves, show how they are, how they work and what are they, also what they think they are or others are. It's how a character is being acquainted to.
So if you want some tension, some good character exploration from the characters themselves, some suspense in the actions forward and a movie with chapters, exploring its story's different stages and development - plus if you want well delivered book adaptation of the same name, then go and watch it, unless you don't like songs in movies - characters that are singers (therefore they sing, because it's what they usually do - not all the time, of course, it's not a musical) , unless you tend to hate adaptation, although try it, but stop judging just because you expected not to be annoyed that much, well you may see if want to go or not, watch the trailers!
Thank you for that adaptation and may the odds be ever...
Beckham (2023)
Best Documentary I've Seen/Watched
Never really getting interested in Beckham that much, this... this gave me chills, gave me something that nothing had, making me literally get in... not love, but in worship for him. Not because of his success or fame - it all came to him because of what makes me worship that man. Through those lens I saw something I never thought I could see or expirience from a documentary - and that's a growing connection with a person that I only saw on a screen.
Maybe it is because I love Man United. Or maybe because I love what he did. Yeah, both are reasons to cheer for that person, to cherish someone, even though it sounds weird and like every fan. But I really feel for him, want to root for him, seeing all his desire, all his dedication, all his power, strength, toughness and not wanting to give up or rest or to settle with something easy and wanting to go through the bumps and strikes himself, seeing as they come. That is a strong human being, and not only that, the series depicts how tender-hearted, BIG-hearted person, which I love, because those are the people that for me deserve rooting for.
Although caring about more than football. Caring about style, life, that doesn't show any signs on his form, endurance nor desire.
Beckham, amazing, profound and touching!
The Batman (2022)
MOVIE AT ITS BEST
Matt Reeves at his best.
Wow. I expected something big, spectacular and It was not disappointing. Matt Reeves proves me that he's one the best directors to immerse you in the picture and the feeling of a movie and to push even more into it.
Everything was excelent, perfectly executed. The cast played the roles with their pure talent and devotion. From Pattison's mastering Batman/Bruce, to Kravitz and her great, fantastic take on the Cat, to Dano, Wow, always amazing, playing such roles, and then to the unrecognizable Farrel, great! Amazing and fantastic and all the other words, describing my satisfaction of their acting.
Awesome, well written and followed script. Matt Reeves again, slaying me. Cinematic excellence.
Movie that could be relived again and again and again. That's even more difficult to make.
Praise to all the cast and crew.
Don't Look Up (2021)
Awesome Satire of a Film
Good movie. Great screenplay. Totally excellent acting. AMAZING Timothee Chalamet!!!
Unorthodox sort of directing. Seemed like it was meant to give on purpose more dramatism and thrill, intense feeling. Which stood out, as I was expecting to be a pure comedy genre, but that extra feel to it and to its picture is what makes it unique.
Between 8 or 9 I give.
In Time (2011)
Generally good
Good, but not very good or great. Good plot and ideas. Not very good screenplay and making.
There are few scenes that feel missing to glue the other scenes and explore the characters more and what's going through their heads literally and explorung their emotion of the action in there.
JT should've been directed better so he could make a better personage and emotinal depth throughout the whole movie and not just a few scenes.
Seyfried is pretty good, but could've given a little bit more of what she is. But that's directional fault. Subjectively thinking of course and maybe a little bit objectively?
Also the plot although good, could've been a bit more composed, so we can enjoy more of the picture and the whole experience, watching the movie.
Tag (2018)
Forever in my all time favourites
Gonna watch it again and not gonna disapppoint.
One of the best in this genre, and generally.
It delivers fun, depth, emotion. Incredible screen play, wasn't expecting the things to go down that way. Great acting and chills given in general.
Thank you for this awesome fun and thoughtful, haha, movie!
The Suicide Squad (2021)
So freaking liked it
What a great movie turned out to be! Great made, of course awesome look and vision (except there are some more nasty shots personally for my taste, but they work good for this movie).
Great cast. Great acting. Amazing performance from Daniel Melchior, also from Idris Elba, and the others on the poster. Rick Flag too.
Loved the well built depth between all of the cast. The heartfelt moment make us so in the stories of the characters and the plot always keeping us in tensiin and suspense.
Amazing, emotinal, crazy ride and also, yeah, heartwarm and heart......something!!!
Mainstream (2020)
With more effort in directing, scripting and editing, a 10
The whole movie grabed me with the trailer and idea. Everything could've been shown in there. More dramatic, more comedic or even more thriller, the best - from all. But the script was not great enough, the directing style didn't show the exact results, the execution of the whole production wasn't made the way it should've. That's my opinion, because I would love it even more.
Respect for Garfield, he's always excellent, love him! Showing the way that people become in the social system, in the media, in the increasing of popularity among the crowd.
Although I am sad that the whole movie didn't become the best version of itself, I like it a lot. Yeah Garfield's charisma and greatness all over it.
Vazvishenie (2017)
One of the greatest single scenes in bulgarian cinematography
The scene with in the middle of the film, you can say which one it is, is just great made. Maybe it could've been easy more... but whatever.
Otherwise the movie is well shot, good costumes, good acting on a stable level, in the worst case, just ok. I won't say anything about the directing nor the script, because I find it little disturbing that the script was so light taken and the directing didn't try it's best to fix that little but not so fatal miss.
Oh, and the last around 10-15 minutes lose the good made atmosphere, because it is too messy made and chaotically chopped. You expect the climax and its follow up to be more engaging, not wondering you around the space, just staring at the characters and objects.
Yagodova luna (2020)
TOO INORDINATE AND DEFINATETLY NOT ENTERTAINI
Honestly the story builds a solid ground for the series, but that's all. From there on there's no significant movement up.
The characters are stiff, speaking fainly, acting like they are on their first attempt of showing to the mirror that they can fill the characters. Although the bad try to imintate a vision of a person, it's more important to become the characters and to act natural, make sense in every mimic or not if that's the purpose, but definetely there's no purpose in there.
For the script only one thing, bad writing, poor imagination for dialog plus bad knowledge for natural, smooth, fluent conversation. All dialog are soo forced.
And finally, terrible finale.
After all that's my evaluation. Poor.
V krag (2019)
GREAT BG PIECE
It is admiring job for me. This is pure and crystal good quality from the bg cinema.
I don't like the Movies from Bulgaria, although I am bulgarian, but this as well as the prevous one - Directions, are the two best pictures for now. I can't believe they made them.
At first I was set negatively with prejudice, but it surprised me. Amazing job from the cast, they bring depth and emotion (although it could've been more emotinal played) to the characters. The effort they put to film it as a one shot is unbelievable. Great job from director and operator broughr it to life. Of course it is not exactly like 1917, because there are more main characters here, but the work is alike.
The film delivers a real world experience, with exploring the world of the characters and their ideals.
Truly said, well done!!!
Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)
Great one!
This movie beats all the weirdness from the prevous one. This time a little more serious tone with the classic fights for spider-man. Here the fight scene are very good. Especially one, which I won't say.
Great movie. Enjoyed it a lot.!
Million Dollar Baby (2004)
HEARTBREAKING ME
I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch it first, because I thought it would not be good for me. I would be boring and bad made. But... I was so wrong!
It is pure class story, brought to life... to movie... literally to life. Deserved Oscar...
I could not start from the begging of the film. I just keep thinking of the end results from the story. Such feeling. The actors really shine. They give such an amazing job. Especially the actress in the leading role. The movie shows how can be given the emotion so precissely and real. So real. You just keep watching. And love the movie.
Excellent movie. Broke my heart, my mind, my body... My soul = my heart + my mind.
Aquaman (2018)
BADASSSS
Awesome movie! All up down to toes is great. The most recognizable I can say is the style the director James Wan puts in the movie with all the moves of the camera, the angles, shots. Incredible.
The story plays. The action blows minds. The screenplay, the locations, the cast play. Such a great movie. And most important with all touching feelings. You sense the emotions, which many blockbusters doesn't have in large specter of variety. That is it. Great.
Glass (2019)
AMAZING FINISH FOR AN AMAZING STORY AND MORE
After the two movies, the second one, that I loved - Split, the conclusion, set in it, is here.
The intensity for sure is there. The athmosphere is all around. I just couldn't be more happy that I watched it, I experienced it.
Glass is something more than a comic book. Something more than Unbreakable. For me not more than Split, because the intensity and the power were more in Split. But it was great, awesome, awesome...
James McAvoy great as always, just unbelievable actor. 24 characters, portrayed by him. That's something no one can do (maybe, but he did it best). ...
Sarah Paulson - great.
Sam L. Jackson - great as always - legend.
Glass is unique. It doesn't disappoint, not one bit.
Bumblebee (2018)
Good. Simple. Awesome. Fun
Great movie. Has all the fun, the emotions, action, feelings and views. That's a big success. Makes you feel good and well. To feel the cinema's home.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018)
INTERESTING
I saw the first movie week before the second came out. Four days after the premiere, here I am, I watched it in IMAX!!! WOW
Now. It is very good movie. Good idea for the plot. Good chronology of the events and the scenes. No matter what others say, there were enough fantastic beasts and enough crimes and Grindelwald's events, which can totally give the name fair and square.
There were only two mistakes, which were a little confusion for the people. The first - bad postproduction at some scenes. The second - the misdirection of the happening in a edited scene somewhere in the movie - I won't say were NO SPOILERS.
Although many people say it is not good and it doesn't worth it, I say it's good movie, even better than the first installment, with more depth in the story, presented by the filmmakers, although those little mistakes... well forget them. I did.
Adventure Time: I Remember You (2012)
MASTERPIECE
This episode brings so much depth and emotion to the audience's hearts. At least it did bring to me and experienced great time with the right feeling.
Adventure Time: Come Along With Me (2018)
ONE OF THE BEST FINALS EVER
So much history, coming to an end. The end of a precedent giant.
With the conclusion for all the previous episodes, it all gets us at the alley for a long fascinating walk. So much gathered together for one last, but long - YESSS, but not enough for fans like me, I'm crying : ) :( - This is the most emotional ending, and episode, show. So compeling, so ...
I can't imagine, how it could be more compelling and good as hell.
So we come along with you
and see the butterflies indeed
nothing wil ever end
because we love to live.
Pain & Gain (2013)
REALLY GOOD ENTERTAINING MOVIE
Movie with great dinamic and energy, which won't get tired of.
Great angle, although sometimes, sometimes more often fo a period, the shots aren't as good as the rest and as they should be. But that's not harmful.
The cut is tolerable, but with mistakes, which put us too fast into the next scenes without need for the speed.
In General the film is great, awesome, I had great fun, watching it, it felt powerful and more.
Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018)
AWESOME INCREDIBLE
Just watched it in the theater.
It has it all. Dialog. Story. Conflict. ACTION.Tension!
It is just so good. I loved it. Ethan Hunt the human doing the impossible to safe it all. You don't know what's next and what could be real or lie. Great blockbuster. Great.
Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)
GOOD
In an universe where all seems bit darker, there must be a remind for the funny adventure experienced atmosphere.
Ant-man positively isn't the most not entertaining film among them all. He fights to top with all the others. It's funny, really, entertaining and good.
Good actions, lyrics, visuals, and .... all.
Cool.
Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018)
WEAK, JUST SO WEAK
One interesting sequence with so much opportunities.
But it fails to take all the emotion and release it in the movies. At least the last two, where could've been so good actions and things to happen.
In the last part of the adventure, the cast meets its final denouement. Here, right here, should be so much intense overflowing energy, which connects all of the franchise's series.
I can't talk much compicated words, which give explanation for the fails, nor confuse often people. So, the whole lead-up and implemenation fail. I'm sorry about that, because I really like the series.
Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016)
NOT THAT GOOD AS IT PRESENTS TO BE
Two brothers ruiners, who are trying to make it up to their family and all the other people around.
AND
Two free straying 'sailing' girls with flair to troubles and chaos.
Meat while the brothers look for redemption through them, so all could be kind and sweet as planned with no slips.
BUT in the movie everything is basic and not characterased as it should be for these four characters, full with different colors and tinges.
So I'm disappointed as it could've been so much more and one of the greats comedy movies.
