Fair Play (2023)

Loved the female lead and the message of the movie

As a woman working in corporate world, I could relate myself to the female lead character. Women have to deal with toxic patriarchy not only at work but also in their personal lives. All the negative comments in here clearly shows how males are uncomfortable with a good movie related to female empowerment. Somehow, they cannot digest the fact that a woman can do well in her career, and can walk away from a toxic relationship that hinders her growth.

Both lead actors did an amazing job, specially Phoebe Dynevor. Her facial expressions say it all. Also, her assertiveness and courage to leave a toxic relationship is inspiring.

I would highly recommend this movie. Loved it!!

Little Women (2022)

Must watch!!!

This show is amazingly good when it comes to plot-line, suspense, actors, cinematography - pretty much everything you would want in a good show! I know the new episodes air only on Saturdays and Sundays but it's worth waiting for to watch what happens next. Each character is inter-connected in a mystery, and the story line is very unique. I specifically like Kim Go-eun's role (Oh In-ju in the show) and acting. She plays her role really well!

The suspense and mystery keeps you glued to the show. You get hooked starting the first episode and crave to find out what happens next. Hats off to the writers and everyone who created this masterpiece!

You gotta be kidding me with the Golden Globes!!

This show was too cliche and something you'd watch during quarantine cause there's nothing else going on. But I was totally shocked when it received two nominations for the Golden Globes! They must have lowered their bar pretty low!

Firefly Lane (2021–2023)

Simply mindblowing!

I binge watched this show in two days and I simply loved it! I had to grab tissue in several episodes! I don't understand why people would rate it low!! The performances of each actors were amazing and the presentation was really great! I hope I get to watch the next season!!
