Another Fanning Masterpiece!
Dakota Fanning is great as usual with her portrayal of an autistic young woman on a quest of a lifetime. I'm surprised that she has never won an Oscar but sure that she will before her long career is finished.
The photography and directing is excellent along with a superb supporting cast. I can't believe this film did not win an award.
Even her co-star, Jake the little dog, was superb. Toni Collette, as her caretaker, turned in a solid backup performance.
The part about winning a script writing contest did create alot of unecessary false hope that was disappointing in the ending. Other than that it was a really superb film which shows that great films don't need multimillion dollar budgets to be successful, just excellent actors.
To All the Boys I've Loved Before (2018)
A real Chick Flick
Only watch it if your girlfriend make you!
I had to sit through this dribble for 2 hrs to make her happy and you know that old saying that I can't remember or is that about your wife?
Fifty Shades Freed (2018)
You will enjoy this movie series IF......
You like uninhibited sex and take pleasure viewing the most beautiful form in nature, the female body which is artfully presented in this film.
3:10 to Yuma (2007)
Good western but a silly ending.
The actors, directions, location and story were superb until the last five minutes then it went into bizaro land.
Wake in Fright (1971)
Not for entertainment
This movie was produced to satisfy the directors need for some kind of weird kind of gratification, certainly not for any kind of entertainment!
Svanurinn (2017)
Bad mix of ingredients
They had all the ingredients for a beautiful film but just could not produce it.
L'amica geniale (2018)
An Italian Masterpiece
A truly stunning series! The acting, the direction, the photography, the sets, the music, even that it was not dubbed into English meant we got to hear that beautiful lyrical Italian language flow and weave the story into our senses.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019)
It was ruined by the first two minutes.
This would have been a much more enjoyable film if the ending had not been given away by the first two minutes when Jesse is talking to his friend.
My advice is skip this and I think you'll like the film more.
