Tom sets the bar very high! Impeccable action movie! Great plot , breathtaking action scenes , three beautiful ladies and the king Tom. One never goes wrong in a movie with Tom or Keanu. The greatest action actors of their generation. Mission Impossible series never fail to impress and to entertain. After the pandemic few movies atttract my attention to make me leave the comfort of my home to go to a theater. Nevertheless there are some actors that you trust they are always going to deliver, Tom is one of these actors. You can see the guy loves what he does and each one of his movies is a masterpiece. Thanks Tom for your hard work!

This show is simply amazing! The plot, the action, the actors are gorgeous and the chemistry between them is insane. The costumes are to die for, the cinematography.... Pure perfection!

Waste of time

You need to be very masochist to watch this piece.A waste of time and talent. Park Bo Gum , usually a good actor is wooden here, all he does is pout and whine in his act of good boy. There are only dumb characters , the lines are stupid beyond imagination, the romance is corny, cheese, no chemistry between the lead pair.Highly annoying show.

Denial!

The director forgot to add she is the daughter of one of the major players in the corruption scandals in Brazil.Therefore she is in total denial about the true events.To begin the 15 years of government of the party of trabalhadores starting with president Lula and ending with Dilma and her impeachment reach a scale of corruption never before seen in the country or maybe in the world.Lula was found guilty for several crimes in many trials, not just one, like she implies, and her documentary is a work of copy and paste of material that has copyright.Therefore this is a work of a plagiarist.The merit should go to the ones who filmed the street scenes.

I selected this thriller without any expectation and in the end was highly surprised!Very stylish and entertaining detective movie with lots of dark humour, bizarre characters, plot twists, and great scenery.I highly recommend it.

The best show on TV right now.Beautiful scenery , great plot, very good actors, I am watching the show at Viki and I can't wait till the next chapters. It is really captivating...As far as the love story , I don't see too much love story on this show, sorry but I see it only as friendship, strong family ties, etc, etc.As a matter of fact there is only one female character : the sister of the two brothers.Anyway this is a great show!

The Mechanism (2018–2019)

When reality is more incredible than fiction

This show is "based on true events" and in the end reality is much more incredible than fiction, because if you think what you see here is exagggerated I would beg to differ...It is not over yet, there is more to come in the show and in real life ( more prisons to come). Why people insist in comparing this show with Narcos is beyond my comprehension, the two shows have completely different plots, one is about drugs, the other is about corruption.The only possible similarity is they both have a brazilian actor in the main lead, even there, to compare Selton de Melo, a bloody good actor with Wagner de Moura, a lousy actor( the worst Pablo Escobar, ever!) is a stretch! Anyway, this is a very good show, very well acted, very entertaining and in the same time provides a little light about a dark period of brazilian history, which we are still living...In spite of some who tell the show is biased , it is propaganda, and deny it, the show, is very accurate, and unfortunate very faithful to the truth, to the times we live.

A rare jewel

The best movie I saw this year by far...Moving, witty, very funny, great dialogues, superb acting, a rare jewel!!!!I had no expectations about this movie based on the last french movies I saw but I left the theater in a lighter mood.This thriller reminds me old french school: Lelouch comedies and other great directors which are no longer among us.If you want to have a great time for a couple of hours, go and see it!

John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017)

Top notch!

Top notch action thriller!Great plot, spectacular fight scenes, like a ballet choreography , beautiful locations, great special effects and Keanu!!!Keanu is the best action actor ever!Highly skillful , committed, charismatic, he is in his prime.I enjoyed the first movie, this sequence is even better.I can't wait for number 3.

Narcos (2015–2017)

Disappointing !

If I hadn't watched previously "Pablo Escobar, el patrón del mal" maybe I would have enjoyed Narcos more.I can't help but the entire cast of the other one is beyond comparison.Starting with the main actor who portrays Pablo and the actress which plays his mother who was a major influence in his education and during his brief life.Pablo's mother in Narcos is merely ornamental. Also I don't like this major player they add to Narcos, the DEA American agent , it distracts the attention from the main plot. If you have time and patience ( 74 episodes ) watch the other one, if not go for Narcos aware that this is a shorter and more shallow version of a truly complex character named Pablo Escobar with many facets and a less interesting panel of Colombia history in the 80s.

The Second Mother (2015)

Only the poor people will go to heaven !

The thriller is supposed to portray the life of a maid in the house of an upper medium class family in Sao Paolo and the arrival of her daughter in order to enter the university in SP and all the hardship she suffers there being a modern , independent woman. IMO this thriller is very biased and unrealistic. In this caricaturist portrait all the employers are shown as vain, lazy, stupid pot smokers, and the poor are hard workers, intelligent with all the qualities.Unrealistic because the chance of a girl coming from the chaotic Brazilian public shool to succeed in a vestibular entrance exam in the big city is less than zero.Not fair with the tax payers since the movie is sponsored by public companies ( see the credits in the start). A part from the obvious message of class fight , the racist way the maid is treated , there is a more interesting conflict in my opinion, which is that some families are separated for years , in order to make a living. The movie has its merits but the final result is compromised by a lack of a firm hand of the director.

The worst movie ever!

Terrible movie! I can't understand why it got so many stars.The lines are awful, it is not funny at all.Could somebody explain to me what is so funny about not cleaning your dog mess?Because it happen 3 times during the movie.The only reason I didn't left is because my friend was sleeping so deep, I felt sorry to wake him up. I normally do not go to comedies but I decided to give a try to this one because of the actors,specially Paul Rudd , which is an excellent actor.But what he is doing in this one is out of my comprehension. The jokes aren't jokes at all.A waist of time and money , from the side of the movie goers and from the point of view of who puts money on this type of comedy.A total waist!Super overrated!
