I absolutely loved it. I was feeling a bit down and needed a pick me up and this certainly helped. Timothee Chalamet's Wonka is so CHARMING! I absolutely adored his brother-sister type relationship with young actress, Calah Lane. Their performances were truly the heart of the film for me. I usually don't do too well with musicals but I can say I will most definitely be adding this soundtrack to my phone! It's colorful, whimsical, fast-paced, emotional, and silly! Everything Wonka should be in my opinion. I'd say skip it if you aren't much into the musicals but if you're like me and can handle a musical from time to time, give it a try! Comparisons are inevitable however I just don't think Chalamet's performance can be compared to the previous iterations of the character. I will definitely be rewatching this. I may even buy the Funko Pop! Enjoy :)

Honestly this movie is one of those either you love it or you hate it type of movies. It's a modern day slasher that's nostalgic, campy, gory, and fast-paced. If you're a fan of gore and over the top death scenes then you'll likely enjoy this movie. I'm a big fan of the Chucky movies (especially the later ones) as well as the more recent series and that's kind of the vibe this movie gives off when it comes to tone for me. I laughed a lot while watching this movie and cringed at just about all of the deaths. It's also very reminiscent of I Know What You Did Last Summer and Scream. If you enjoy any of the movies I've mentioned and you need something to do and you're not a horror snob, you'll likely have fun with this one! :)

Firstly, I've never been a big Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan. My brother used to be into them when we were younger so I know a bit of the lore but never quite got into them. I was a bit unsure about this movie but I ended up really liking it. All the Turtles are great. It's great that they actually prioritized casting young and upcoming voice actors rather than people we already know! They were very funny and charming. Jackie Chan & Ice Cube had to be the funniest parts for me though! I also really enjoyed this adaptation of April O'Neal. I will DEFINITELY watch this again. I'm very excited for the sequel!
