Supernatural: Abandon All Hope (2009)
Horrible use of characters and no plot makes Dean & Sam dull boys!@*^
I'll sum this episode up as quickly as possible. But, before I can do so, I can honestly compare the script for this episode to an old fashioned donut. Why an old fashioned donut, you ask? Well, because like an old fashioned donut, the product is good but even better when it has more. More what? Well, for starters...a PLOT!!! Will the writers please just get the angels & devil plot over with already! I mean, seriously! I love Supernatural, Ackles, Padalecki & Co. have some of the best chemistry on TV, but the storyline is starting to lag. I've lost interest in the devil arc and could honestly care less about the climax of this storyline now! I just want stand alone episodes, Please? Okay, so Bobby is paralyzed..I can deal..not happy, but I can deal. But killing off Jo and Ellen in such a lackluster episode and to kill Jo off by invisible dogs..pretty lame and a total cop out, guys! Give me a shot at writing a future episode, I'm not trying to be a douche-bag but I guarantee I can write a better and more entertaining episode than Abandon All Hope!
Sincerely, Slack...A Supernatural fan since the beginning who is unsure whether or not I will continue watching when the show starts up in January. I was hoping and praying that the show would come back for one more season but after this latest episode I just want the show to end...quickly. Severely disappointed in Rhode Island.

Seventh Moon (2008)
What the flip flying GOOSENUTS??? Ding-Dong-Blair-Witch-is-dead and Sanchez has destroyed his audience!"
OKAY, I was a fan of the Blair Witch Project, I'm still a fan, loved the movie, loved the way they promoted the movie, pure genius! Hell, I even liked Blair Witch 2, OK story, good dialogue...great cast. Unfortunately, I watched Altered, a boring...clichéd...way overrated farce of a movie that should never have been made.
Then, Mr. Sanchez lowered himself even more by making the atrocious Ghost House Underground film: Seventh Moon. It started out promising and lost its pull about 20 minutes in. Any aspiring film maker - whether a student or not - can achieve making a film of this type. I mean, 97% of the film was shot in total darkness.
I won't even get into the fact that Mr. Sanchez obviously stole many scenes from The Descent and then in the final scenes blatantly slapped viewers in the face by being "artsy" & "eccentric". I'm disappointed, utterly disappointed in Mr. Sanchez - being a huge fan of Blair Witch even to this day - I'm sorry to say that I am boycotting all future movies by this director.
"George Clooney once killed the Batman franchise. Rob Zombie did the impossible and killed Michael Myers & the Halloween franchise. And Ding-Dong-Blair-Witch-is-dead and Sanchez has destroyed his audience!"

Short Order (2005)
A Beautiful Vignette of Life, Love, Beauty, and well...Fun.
Unfortunately, I was not aware of this movie until its DVD release in the States. However, I did know of the beautiful and talented Emma de Caunes and the other beauty Shiva. This movie was beautifully constructed to perfection and is a true masterpiece among cinemas best. It reminded me of films like The Last Minute, Russian Ark, Waking Life, The Science of Sleep, The Life Aquatic, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Thank you to all of the crew involved in the making f this cinematic masterpiece and I hope we see more films like this in the future.

Lost: Through the Looking Glass: Part 1 (2007)
Fate, Destiny, CHOICE.
I am an avid Lost fan and have followed the show from the very beginning. Season 1 was outstanding and the characters we have followed through the past three seasons have given each of us insight into the human spirit. Let's face it: Every one of us has a dark side. However, we have the element of choice. It is choice that gives way to our fate and ultimately our destiny.
I have to admit that I had mixed feelings over Season 2. I loved it and I hated it just the same. I felt that it lost something from Season 1. Season 3 started out with a bang and then hit a slump. Yet, the last couple of episodes showed why this series is so great. Yes, the show is confusing. But, if you just open your mind and allow for something other than the norm to set in than you truly can appreciate this show, it's creators and most of all the writers.
I was happy to see that Locke is still alive and out of the pit. Was Walt alive or a ghost? Did he and Michael meet a grisly fate due to Ben's devious and evil ways? So many questions and just a few months to simmer over the events that have unfolded over the last season. It was sad to see Charlie pass on and leave the show, but it was a much needed and much expected ripple in the storyline.
Season 4, I await you.

Supernatural: All Hell Breaks Loose: Part 1 (2007)
The Best Show Sinnce X-Files, No worries...Sam is not truly dead.
Okay, the episodes are pretty much all excellent from Seasons 1 and 2, this episode was well executed. Jensen and Jared are exceptional actors and are always surrounded by wonderful counterparts, whether a guest appearance or a regular.
"My take; Sam and Dean's Mother is some sort of part supernatural being and was kind of hiding out from whatever past she had. The yellow-eyed demon finally found her and corrupted Sam because he was an infant, Jared was older and more self aware. In the final episode Jared will somehow trap the demon and be forced to make a deal where the demon will bring Sam back and Dean will let the demon go."
Or, Sam's real father is the yellow-eyed demon, which would make for a really bad cliché. I have faith in the writers that they will not make this show just another cliché.

Masters of Horror: Sounds Like (2006)
This episode was incredibly boring!
This episode was boring and was not even in the realm of horror, so far this season Masters of Horror has produced one really good episode...The Damned Thing...it is still early, I have faith that the episodes will get better. I admit that the vampire episode was okay but lacked a solid storyline. The episode about the couple catching the serial killer started out boring, but the last fifteen minutes was really good. Though, I am just plain out disappointed with the lack of originality and horror that the first season's episodes possessed. Please, save this season John Carpenter! I have faith that Pro-Life will redeem the entire lackluster season so far.

Serenity (2005)
Brilliant Cast, Most Vile Villain, Terrific Story
What can I say about this movie that it does not already say for itself. I was a fan of Firefly and was greatly disappointed when it was cancelled, but what more can you expect from television nowadays besides dumb reality shows. Well, I took my girlfriend to see the movie (she hates sci-fi, but loves horror - go figure) and she absolutely loved the movie! From the opening sequence right until the very last second of this movie, I was on the edge of my seats! You can boast about the Star Wars franchise all you want, but Joss Whedon has far exceeded the hype that was a dismal episode three, and created a sci-fi movie that was worth every penny spent to create. Joss Whedon also succeeded in creating - in my opinion and a great number of other people that walked out of the theater - in creating the most VILE and HORRIBLE villain in cinematic history! The un-named Alliance Assassin was the villain of all villains! This movie is worth seeing over and over again, and Congratulations to Mr. Whedon for providing disappointed Star Wars fans with a worthy, fun-filled ride, through a true science fiction adventure! I hope there is a sequel in the future, but if there is not, this movie was truly satisfying.
