High-Rise (2015)
It seems that half of the screenplay burnt in the middle of shooting.
The movie is quite promising at the begining, intriguing and I was really into it, thinking what could go so utterly wrong, what would explain the glimpse in the future in the prologue.
The cast was also promising, nothing had foretold further catastrophe. After a half an hour the movie went totally berserk and messy. It became illogical, as if all characters just lost their minds. No explanation whatsoever. Maybe the writer had a vision, but forgot to explain it in the screenplay, or at least give some even slight subtle hints.
I was waiting for the end with impatience, angry at myself, that I even started to watch this gibberish. The movie should have a warning label, otherwise the viewer should demand money back and compensation for moral losses.
Rank 1 is much to high for building the promise at the beginning and dumping it to trash afterwards. It should be -10.
Definitely in the top 10 of my worst movie list so far.
Memoria (2021)
Every critic writing good about it, must have slept all over the movie.
It's the worst movie I have ever seen, it's about nothing, no plot, no acting, no ending. Scenes are absurdly long, it's like slideshow, but nothing interesting on it. There is no logic, no sense, dialogs have no meaning to the follow up scenes. When something is beginning, and you hope for some sense, it just dissapears from the movie. Critics are writing good about it, maybe they are afraid to be accused of not understanding the message. But there is no message at all. Total waste of time, a long time. The review must be 600 characters long, but even if I write the whole "story", it would not take so much characters. I would gladly spread the word, for other people, to warn them. It was not only bad, but so dissapointing. At the beginning it was a mistery, not very intricate, but it was so wasted, the movie just went just sideways.
Gemini Man (2019)
Total waste of money on CGI
The movie was OK, predictable plot, but action keeps a good pace. Computer version of Will Smith is bad, it cannot fool anybody. It totally looks like computer generated sim. Additionaly the computer character does resemble Will Smith at all, maybe except the eyes. It would be much better movie if they would just cast a young actor instead of this bad CGI. The original Will Smith from his earlier movies, it's all smile, that's his trademark. But in CGI making realistic teeth is almost impossible, so they just made him serious all the time.
Knights of Badassdom (2013)
Waste of time ever
I am not sure if this title was supposed to be scary or funny, but it was neither of them. I deeply regret I wasted 80 minutes of my life on this. Special effects are far from professional. Acting mostly poor, Peter Dinklage is an exception, his name probably works as a bate for viewers. I am not very often mislead by IMDb ratings, but this time it was real surprise. Although I am also a gamer and familiar with LARP, but voters must have been from some LARP fan club, voting on the movie only because this is first movie about LARP, at least first one I heard of. Non existing plot, boring from the beginning to the end. One thing that was funny, was poor attempts of makeup artists to make scary effects.
