Spider-Man 2 (2023 Video Game)

GOTY Worthy to the original 2018 Game?

The game deserves a gold medal! Storytelling at its best? Yes! More exciting things to explore? Absolutely! This is one of the best Spider-Man stories to date in any Spider-Man video game and film history ever. As a Spider-Man fan, I was deeply impressed and moved how grounded this game came to be. Gameplay combat is very fluid and extremely satisfying taking out bad guys with the upgrades you have. I honestly couldn't tell if I was watching a movie or playing a video game cause it was so good and I couldn't put down the controller for sure! Can't wait to see what insomniac has for pt. Three!!

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023)

ANIMATION AT ITS BEST

It's not very often we get an animation film like this...

The art is astounding, colorful visuals, a jaw dropping movie phenomenon. The score and songs flow very well, the acting is on par with new additional characters involved...

Some we may know, and some we haven't seen on screen yet. The plot of the story is well thought out. Has its silly moments without taking away the essence of the story. Has a very dark tone. This is a movie is aimed not only for children but for comic fans and adults alike. They really achieved movie history and everyone involved did a stiller job! One of the best Spider-Man movies thus far!

Omg WOW! Just...WOOOOOW!!! This is top-tier epic seeing old faces make a returning comeback!! And also I tip my hat to Tom Holland. This is the best profomance as Peter Parker/Spider-Man yet!! Can't wait to see more of what he can do with this beloved character. The story is so emotional in many feels and it's grounded very well! I never thought as a Spider-Man fan would love this film as much as I did as a kid growing up! It's the greatest Marvel movie of all time and it will forever have a special place in my heart. Well done Marvel and Sony. Thank you for giving us a Spider-Man endgame that delivers!

Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)

Just the conclusion we needed for this franchise! This film has pure heart and soul that really made this film so enjoyable. A threequel we thought never was going to be until now! I had such a blast watching this film. I laughed, I cried, and I cried some more of happiness. The characters and story is so great! If your a hard core GhostBusters fan no need to be afraid to feel disappointed with the film. It's an action packed, nostalgic fun thrill ride you gotta see!

Eternals (2021)

Had my doubts and gotten what I expected

I watched Eternals and I gotta say...it sucked 😂 now that just might mean that I have a lack of knowledge about the Eternals because I never read any of the comics about them. But the entire movie felt really slow, LOTS of reading! Oh boy...there was a LOT!! And also the acting performances were good but not great. And it was hard to connect with the characters. I'd give Eternals a 5.7 out of 10

I think in my opinion, this film is definitely the weakest of the MCU.

I get what they where trying to do by introducing us to new characters most people don't know, but the story direction was shaky.

Visual effects where very good. Haha

I would watch the movie because there was some good stuff in it. But for me it's more of a one time thing. And probably won't rewatch it in the next 10 years or so.

The Breakfast Club (1985)

An 80's classic

Slow but it is a great movie! I haven't seen a movie as powerful as this in a while. John Hughes's writing and directing for this movie is really good! This movie has good casting that makes you really feel for what Hughes visioned for the characters the cast played. Hughes truly was a genius in storytelling! This really is a classic that everyone should see. I can definitely see why this movie was so great to the older generation.

Dune (2021)

Amazing

Dune is I guess you can say a modern classic. It has a great all star cast, a story that gets you excited for the next chapter. It's enjoyable and exciting! It's a visual epic!

When I heard about a sequel to the classic 2001 film Monster's inc. I was so excited to watch it. But also scared, I didn't want it to ruin the great value of its predecessor. As soon as it's first episode was released, It was slow for me and thought "okay. First episode is slow and bland but hopefully it'll pick up." I was wrong...the episodes kept getting cheesier and boring by the minute. I could tell that they were aiming towards the little ones because it was getting corny and more kid friendly and not really building it up as it's predecessor did. The episodes kept getting more lame and dragged on with some bad one liners in my opinion. Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed an episode or two but it just doesn't live up to it's predecessor.

I was going in expecting the film to be decent. But it's better than I thought. The film is unbelievably good and exciting!! A lot of culture and amazing martial arts. A must see film!

Spider-Man the video game is one of my favorite games when I was a child. Playing it non stop. I revised the game this year and it was as enjoyable as it was years ago. The only thing I have a little problem with while revisiting the game is that the game play feels short. It's a game for a fan of the Raimi trilogy or a Spider-Man fan in general.

Free Guy (2021)

Free Guy is a great movie and it shows! Full of laughter, heart, and joy. Ryan Reynolds is so good and he doesn't disappoint. This is a movie I'd say is sorta a knock off of "Ready Player One" (2018) but it holds something new and exciting.

The superhero movie that started it all and made me love superheroes ever since. Spider-Man is a ground breaking, web-spinning epic! A film that tackles the heart and soul of a classic well known superhero comic book that issued in 1962 (Amazing Fantasy 15) Sam Raimi knew what he was doing to honor the creators and fans of this character and Tobey Maguire, Rosemary Harris, Cliff Robertson, William Dafoe, James Franco, and Kirsten Dunst killed it playing those characters. This is a must watch classic!!

Spider-Man 2 is the perfect superhero film ever created and the best one in the Sam Raimi trilogy! Great storytelling, tremendous acting, and such a powerful message of choice, sacrifice, and finding your destiny. If you haven't seen this masterpiece yet then WATCH IT! It'll be worth the wait.

F9: The Fast Saga is a good film. Is it perfect? No, but it is enjoyable and has a good plot about brotherhood. You'll enjoy this film if you like a lot of action and explosions. I still think the Fast and Furious franchise should've ended with Furious 7.

Black Widow (2021)

PHENOMENAL

Black Widow is a blast!! Well worth the wait for this character to have her very own movie. I do wish it came after Captain America: Civil War in 2017, but that's fine. A lot of action, drama, and just a pinch of comedy in there, and this made me feel a tad bit more connected to Natasha Romanoff. If you haven't seen this film, watch it! It's well deserved.

Luca (2021)

Pixar has done it again with great animation and story! But...it gave me a lot of 'The Little Mermaid' vibes and thought Pixar is losing their way of thinking outside of the box. Other than that it's a good original story with a lot of laughs and a heartfelt message. Well done Pixar!

Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)

Where the hell was this Justice League film in 2017?? Damn this film achieved huge success from its theatrical release! I'm shocked to say that I actually enjoyed this more than Man of Steal!! The Zack Snyder cut is definitely in my top 5 of the DCU films. What an exciting ride! If your a DC fan then watch this masterpiece, you won't regret it!!

Venom (2018)

A slight disappointment but still enjoyable and fun to watch.

"Venom" (2018) was an enjoyable film. Fun to watch Venom and Eddie chat with each other (hilarious) and the action was great. Plus Venom, the symbiots, and villain looks amazing in CGI! But I do have to say the story wasn't very strong. That was the only disappointment and Spider-Man not appearing as a cameo or a side role. Wish he had a part in this film.
